We stayed here one night specifically to see the Alhambra. Rooms are huge, got 301 its a suite size. Beds were two double versus 2 singles. You can walk up to the Alhambra via Cuesta de Gomérez (feels like a 25 min hike). Most guides tell you to enter the Alhambra from the main entrance. We used the Justice gate...

the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It was a little difficult to see the doorway (not very large sign). But once you find the hotel it's amazing - the courtyard and entryway are beautiful - historically old looking yet perfectly maintained. Rooms are luxurious and comfortable, modern clean bathroom, and location is great. direct view of allhambra looms overhead.

We booked the apartment at the Shine hotel for our 1 night stay at Granada. The apartment is 5 minute walk from the hotel itself ...and both the hotel and apartments are on an extremely busy street which seems to be the most happening street with huge crowds of tourists, students, lots of restaurants and shops, musicians and people partying...

I booked an apartment thinking that I was booking at the hotel. It turns out that the apartment is in a separate building up the street from the hotel. The hotel and apartment building are in a great location from AlHambra. You can see alHambra either from your apartment or from just outside the main door of either building. The...

Beautiful view from the stunning suite to the Alhambra! Good pleasant service and a very nice cafe downstairs serving breakfast at 9.5eur with excellent coffee. Worth the price. Parking a bit far to walk but still accessible.

I cannot stress how incredible this hotel is and worth the price. The Shine organization purchased the property we stayed at just recently and it is up the street and closer to the Alhambra. The building is 15th or 16th Century with a beautiful and tranquil courtyard. The rooms are spacious and ours had a complete kitchen fully stocked with...

The hotel was beautiful, old but well appointed with an amazing atrium, our room was perfect with a massive bed and great views of the Alhambra, no breakfast but it is joined to a wonderful coffee shop and for 9 euros you can get a full breakfast, for 6 you get coffee juice and pastries all lovingly made by the...

I've passed the rather beat-up door of this hotel many times, and always thought that it looked like a former hotel, long closed. However, I had a one-night stopover in Granada and thought I'd give it a try, because of the convenient location. In a splurge-y moment, I booked a superior room. WOW! As a guest, you feel like you...

On arrival the sight of just an old wooden door is a concern BUT is not a problem - simply ring for attention and enter an attractive courtyard reception with pillars and wooden balustrades. Very attractive. Then the Reception personnel are first class with friendliness, attention and service. The superior rooms must be worth an extra cost because the standard...

We booked this hotel for one night (luckily) It took half an hour of driving around to find the hotel by sat nav to drop our bags. The hotel offers parking nearby at the high cost of 20 euro per night. In fact it is only about 1/4 mile away, and is a very crowded public car park ( this...
