I booked this hotel based on its history, architecture and location (being close to the Alhambra and having such great views). The hotel has an old world charm with an Arabian Nights flavour- which is great. However, at the price one pays, today's guests expect certain basic amenities whcih were sadly lacking. The decor is great, the location stunning (great...

Dear guest, Thanks for your kind comment. We appreciate the positive aspects of the hotel that you quote. Regarding the rooms, we refer you that were renovated in 2007 (decoration) and in 2012 (air conditioning, electricity, Flat TV and bathrooms). With reference to the iron, for security reasons, in Spanish city hotels is very rare find it in guest rooms....

We're looking forward for a "thousand-and-one-nights" but we're somewhat disappointed. The entrance very nicely décorated. Front-desk staff seem to be very busy and made us feel like adding to their work load. Our room has the number 701 but in fact the numbering is misleading because is 2floors below the lobby and especially close to the lift and the entrance...

Lovely interconnected suites, cery clean & well lighted with amazing city views. Bathrooms are clean but dated. Compared to the Alfonso XIII in Seville where we stayed, the breakfast buffet or the continental in-room breakfast is of pretty low standard. The overall menu is limited. The bar staff are friendly but the waiters are not, specially a young waiter with...

Dear Guest, We appreciate your comment. Regarding the breakfast service, it is a American style buffet, with more than 105 hot and cold products, and also products for diets, celiacs and vegetarians, including the possibility of order à la carte what you desire, even if it is not in the buffet. Bar service is often an aspect highly valued in...

The hotel is super cold in December. Except in the rooms, they have no/little hest in the common areas...to the point where we had to wear our coats in the bar! The rooms and bathrooms are more in line with an average hotel. The food is also very average. You have to request a bathrobe, slippers and even hair conditioner...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. Indeed, Granada is a cold city in winter by the proximity of Sierra Nevada, although the hotel offers newly renovated heating throughout the building. We are sorry if there was a specific fault in your room, although I would tell you that is not common. We want to see you again to thank...

We are so happy that we stayed in this hotel in Granada and just checked out today. My husband got sick during our stay so we had so many additional requests. The hotel responded all our requests (doctor, pharmacy and so...) one by one by quickly finding solutions. The personnel was extremely friendly. The location and the view were also...

Hotel is short walk from the Alhambra but we would have gotten lost returning to hotel without the GPS on our cell. The website reservation request has an option for hotel to get tickets to the Alhambra and shows a price of about 49 (I think dollars) per person. We did this and upon registration they had our request and...

Ideally located for the Alhambra, a short walk up to the entrance, and the old city centre, a short walk downhill but a long steep walk back up the hill. First impression was that the hotel was fairly modern. Wrong, built in 1910 and visited by countless members of royalty, presidents, and executives for over a century. Fantastic views over...

We were only in town for half a day so we needed something close to the Alhambra - this hotel is as close as you can get without staying at one of the hotels that is inside. 10mins walk up the gentle hill to the entrance gates of the Alhambra. We used the valet parking at the hotel so we...

Very nice hotel right opposite the palace. A little bit crowded with day trippers to the palace, coaches etc. The walk into Granada was OK but quite steep. The Hotel seemed to cater for the visitors of the palace rather their guests. We booked for two nights but oy stayed for one. Didn't get into the Palace was too crowded...

Dear Guest Thanks for your kind opinion, which help us to improve our service. Being an important festivity dates the hotel was full. Similarly, the Alhambra, the most visited monument of Spain, has a very high occupancy and is necessary to book the tickets in advance. We wish to welcome you on a future visit. Thanks again and kind regards.

At first it might seem expensive compared to other hotels in the city but the beauty of this hotel and convinience of getting around on the C3 bus which ran every 5_10 minutes was a treat. The park walkaway down to the heart of this busy city was pleasant, calming and easy to walk. It is a short stroll or...
