This hotel is in a central location which makes it great for visiting the many fantastic sights of Granada. Works on European hours with no restaurant services late afternoon to 8:00 pm which is too long to wait for this North American - but there is a Great tapa place next door (Bouquet). The Bouquet is truly a fantastic food experience. Hotel rooms are comfortable and clean and the hotel is impressive. Some attention to grout and caulking in the bathroom is needed but minor. Clients are encouraged to sign in to the free wifi via Facebook - when we were there both my wife’s and mine FB accounts were hacked - this was reported to the front desk and hopefully the IT group there are on top of it now. All in all a good experience.

I stayed at the hotel at the beginning of March. Although the staff upon check-in were friendly and helpful, (thanks for helping us find our bearings on the map and for telling us which bus to get up to the Alhambra!) overall, I wasn’t that impressed with the hotel.
The location is not the best, it’s an approximate 20 minute walk from the centre, with not much around. Obviously they can’t do much about that, and we chose it, but anyway something to note.
The design of the hotel does not aid a good night’s sleep, it’s almost a triangular atrium with the rooms built up around it, so it is noisy.
There is a fridge, but no tea or coffee making facilities. The room had a safe but no way to lock it, when we asked about it at reception, we were asked what floor we were on and then told that they will be updating them and we could use the safe at reception.
At 11€ per person, per day, we didn’t opt for the breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food, but you can certainly spend that on two breakfasts, not one, outside in a café.
Good points to note; the room was of a good size and clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom had complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer and a decent shower.
I had a great time in the city and would recommend Granada as a place to visit.

We stayed for one night as a stop over heading to Gibraltar. The hotel is very easy to get to being just a minutes drive from the town ring road. Check in was very welcoming and swift and first impressions of the hotels grand interior were excellent. Hotel parking is a slight issue - there appears to be loads of spaces however, the very tight single access road is for access and egress and is not controlled. It took me three attempts to get into the car park having to reverse back up a narrow windy road twice (only passing point was blocked by parked hotel van!) leading to a very frustrating and annoying arrival. On exiting the next day we lucky that 2 cars were ahead of us so we stuck to their coat tails!
Our double room was well equipped though directly overlooked by a large block of flats literally 15m access the road. The bed and pillows were very comfortable leading to a great nights sleep, the room decor was good and well equipped. Bathroom was good but in need of decorating; this is common with many hotel bathrooms due to their nature but in a 4 star hotel we would have expected slightly less wear and tear. We did not use the hotel bar or restaurant but headed into town - it’s about a 15 minute flat stroll into the old part of town and a further 10 minutes to view part of the Palace of Alhambra- we did not have time to visit unfortunately but be aware most visits must be booked in advance. We planned to eat near to the hotel but there are very few ‘nice’ restaurants nearby, most provide budget type tapas as there is a huge college across the road. We did eventually find a small restaurant but about a mile away; bet we missed some closer!
Bottom line, it’s a very nice hotel and, being out of season, we had a great deal of just over €50 for a double room with secure parking. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

We had been invited to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted.
Having advised the receptionist that we had arrived by train, he wanted to charge us, as a result of our “free upgrade”, to charge us parking for our car. The fact that we had no car was not an acceptable reason for refusing to pay.
With our back packs clearly on our backs, a scruffy Mann apparently a porter, wanted to take our bags. He then followed us to the lift and, once we had pressed the button for our floor, pushed the button for an intermediary floor and left, causing us to stop unnecessarily.
The room was horribly stuffy and the air conditioning seemed not to be working. Today it is about 30 degrees outside, unseasonably hot. The same receptionist told us that the hotel would not be switching its air conditioning on for another few months, and that we would jus have to open our windows. Those windows look straight into homes across the narrow road, and are situated close to a noisy road. Trying to sleep is going to be either very noisy or very stuffy.
We currently have both windows open and our door open in an attempt to get some air going through. The stuffy smell ha been replaced with traffic fumes but is no cooler.
We have another two nights here, sadly.

We asked the receptionist how long it should take us, with long legs to walk up to the Alhambra, for our 8.45 tour in the morning. “15 minutes” was his answer. We decided to confirm this, in order to avoid missing our slot, and, even walking at a brisk pace, the walk took 45 minutes. Had we taken his advice, we would have missed our entry slot and the fees that we had paid.
A 4-star hotel should not be employing staff who are so unhelpful, worthy of Fawlty Towers.

The bed is comfortable, which is something good.

Dear Clive, Although we appreciate most comments, one that includes a derogatory comment of a valuable and humble member of our team needs no longer explanations. That 'scruffy ' man has been helping during this ongoing health crisis that you clearly have been unawere of, where lifes are lost and jobs, such as his, are lost too. Regarding the air conditioning, our hotel is acclimitized but the water system can not fluctuate from hot to cold in a matter of hours. It needs a bit longer as in most hotels, hospitals and such with centralised systems. Obviously a 30 degree day was not expected when at night is 10 or bellow. Sincerely, The hotel management

This should be a five star hotel as far as the quality of the building and rooms are concerned! It is only ranked four stars because it is light on staff, with no concierge services, bell service etc.

The hotel and rooms feel like brand new. It was entirely renovated during the pandemic and reopened in 2022 110% fully new. Our feeling during our stay in July 2024 was like we were among the first guests given how new everything was both inside the rooms and out.

We stayed in a Jr Suite, which is enormous and bigger than the pictures show, particularly the balcony which is about half the size of the entire suite.

Everything is luxurious with really top quality materials.

Breakfast was very good as well, good quality and selection, although we have seen better from 4 star hotels.

It has a parking on premise but very expensive at € 21 per day, with public parking at 4 blocks away.

It is about a 15 minute easy walk to the start of the city center and about 25 minute to the catedral or Granada. To the Alhambra a 15 minute taxi ride costs about € 15.

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights at this new hotel. We requested a double room before coming and got a twin room instead.
On our first night we realized that the air conditioning was not working, so we turned it off- instead, there was heat coming out, making the temperature unbearable.
After explaining the situation to the receptionist at 4am in the morning, they requested us to change rooms with all of our belongings in case someone else would book the room.
I asked them how they could even sell this night to someone else if not only the AC does not work, but also that the room is heating and is over 28 degrees?
After many discussions, They have not given any discounts, reimbursements, or complementary services.

From the US visiting Spain. Our ask for a hotel is simple, clean, secure, well maintained and run by competent staff. Hotel staff was excellent and spoke english, room was spacious and looks to be newly renovated. The bed crisp white linens, the bathroom and shower were modern with rainfall shower head. Don't let the 70s decorum give you the wrong impression it is out of date, it is not. The room had its own temp control, usb and bed size light switches, flat screen and wifi. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice modern and clean hotel. I just hope they can keep up the standards, and maintain the property.
8.0

Liked · Well decorated, spacious.

Disliked · Not sufficient glasses, cutlery (none) in the room. No wine cork. Room service requested I take the wine down to the cafe to have a bottle opened. Front desk obliged. The atrium design means that noise from guests in the Lobby travels up to the room.

Location seems far away from the main tourist attractions, but these are easily reached by taxi, and it is probably beneficial to be away from the overcrowded tourist hotspots for the place you lay your head.

We had a junior suite, so it was very spacious, and the modern sleek decoration very pleasing. I hope they can maintain the decoration standards.

We asked for the sofa bed to be made up and were assured that it would be upon arrival. It was not. The housekeeping did not clean any of the glasses or coffee cups, but the Front Desk staff rectified that, after asking, when they brought up the cork screw and two wine glasses. Enjoyed drinking a glass or two on the semi private balcony, accessed from either the bedroom or the sitting area.

Bathroom huge, with jacuzzi bath, (which didn't always work).

Operation needs a bit of tweaking, but Front Desk were alert, friendly and helpful.

Hotel Granada Center is a modern hotel on the west side of the city center. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms have a normal size and are furnished in a modern style. Bed is good with a sturdy mattress. Bathroom is modern with a great shower. Room and bathroom were perfectly clean. In the lobby of the hotel there was a coffee bar where they serve great coffee and some pastry. Parking in the hotel garage is not cheap (€21 per night) but it is hard to find a cheaper spot in the city center. We made use of taxi's for a very reasonable price (€10 to the Alhambra). We had an excellent stay for a very reasonable price and we would surely recommend people to stay at this great hotel.
