Stayed here three nights as part of a group. The location is good for shopping, eating and sightseeing. All within comfortable walking distance. Our room was comfortable, bathroom small but efficient. View to Sierra Nevada - and the school playground. Could be noisy but it wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was continental standard. Wifi free and with steady connection...

We chose Hotel Macia Monasterio de la Basillos for its convenient location. It is close to the shopping areas, good restaurants, easy walking distance to historical buildings. The building itself is very old. The hotel is located within the confines of the Macia Monasterio, built in 1616 over an ancient Muslim Convent. The hotel is situated around a beautiful courtyard...

The rooms are spacious, neat and clean. The staff are very nice and friendly and the location of the hotel is perfect, we walked (30 mins) to Alhambra. Its accessible to the Renfe train station by bus (around 20 mins). The hotel is a piece or art itself too. I'd stay there again if I go back to Granada one...

This is a strange hotel, nominally a monastery full of character but recently renovated to have all the character of a Holiday Inn Express - straight out of IKEA. The rooms were fairly spacious and clean. The only main "hardware" problem to note is that many of them face a playground/basketball court where loud groups were drinking until as late...

Was a bit hesitant booking a Monastery, did not regret it at all. Facilities and rooms were great. Location was helpful and check in staff very helpful. Very clean hotel and i think had great amenities which we did not use . Would go back to this Hotel if I were to travel this way again.

First of all, it's a clean hotel - which is a really good thing to find after a long day of travel, and that is not necessarily present in all hotels. Second, the desk team is really thoughtful and polite - which is, also, somewhat rare. Anyway, it's a great place to stay and near from the center of the...

The reception staff was really helpful. The hotel is well located. Former convent, the building is lovely. The room are modern, very clean, spacious and the view on the little patio is relaxing. We had a really nice stay in this hotel.

This hotel was a former dorm for students and housing for priests. Priest are still housed on the premise. When we arrives cleaning staff were vacuuming around us as we checked in, the rooms are tiny and noisy, parking is a block away at a cost of $15 Euro/night, no porters or valet, no refridgerators in room, not particularly close...

As students on a budget, this hotel was ideal for us. The only issue may be the noise due to the nearby school/sports facilities, however, I can sleep through most things so it wasn't much of an issue. Overall, this is a budget friendly, clean hotel!

I stayed here for two nights. It's was a lovely hotel transformed from a monastery. The breakfast was good, as were the rooms. The location is fantastic, just a short walk in to town. Here's a tip for young players - the Citrus trees in the courtyard are ornamental (they taste terrible)!
