Whilst the accommodation is rather basic - what do you expect for the money. I spent 5 days here with my husband (and dog) and the location was brilliant. We also had a car and we managed to park outside (parking in Granada is limited so we were very happy). I really liked the walk into the city from the...

Pro- on bus route and within walking distance (with steep incline) to Alhambra, which is our main reason for choosing this pension. Quiet residential street that can bit further out from the main town area but all in all was only about 20 minutes and easy to find. The reception person/ owner was friendly and put our bags in a...

We stayed in 17 budget hotels in our Europe road trip in Italy, Spain and France; and this one was the worst one. The pension is kind of a hidden place, parking was easy. Our room was dirty, had out dated furniture and dirty bathroom. The bad was not comfortable. I have no idea how this place got high ratings;...

Pension Suecia is a lot like staying in someone else's house, but in a good way. It is a few blocks from the hustle and bustle of the older part of Granada. Close enough to walk and grab a drink or meal, and far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The front desk is rarely occupied unless you ring...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in May. Beautiful location, lovely bougainvillaea and other trailing plants leading up to the entrance to the hotel, old fashioned rooms - clean, spacious, lovely windows with built in shutters. I slept like a baby. Calle Molinos has quite a few interesting tavernas and restaurants and is on the bus route to...

This is a really nice pension close to the Alhambra. The owner was wonderful as I had done something silly and ended up crying in reception while he looked after me. He was so kind. He was also very helpful and provided lots of information. I had booked a double room with a private bathroom and had a lovely view...

I traveled through Andalucía last year, and the locales have a saying "si no has ido a Granada no has visto na'a", if you've not been into Granada you've seen nothing, literally, but lacking the rhyme. Not so close to all the atraccions, but you can walk some blocks or take the bus. Clean and peaceful, you'll sleep all night...

Staying at Suecia, a 12-room Spanish mansion (www.pensionsuecia.com) located at Huerta de los Angeles 8 (off C. Molinos) made my visit to Granada truly memorable. Typical Spanish mansion with open rooftop patio with sweeping view of the incredible, historical city of Granada, home to the fortified palace of Alhambra. It’s incredibly great value to stay in this budget little hotel...

I liked staying there. Hotel Suecia is well located with respect to the Alhambra, with lots of other amenities nearby. On the other hand, it's on a very quiet street unbothered by street noise. Our room was clean and has been modernised. I was very happy with it, but my amiga found it a little small. The room started out...
