Stayed 2 nights in standard room, very comfortable with view of summer palace. Some street noise at night but we always travel with ear plugs. Well located and each night you walk along the river with the Alhambra lit up, beautiful. Charming breakfast room in...More
We stayed here for 2 nights (room #8) after reading the terrific reviews on Trip Advisor. I was so certain about booking here that we made our reservation about 7 months prior to our trip. What a great, great, time! We love hotels that reflect...More
Waking up to views of the Alhambra . It is a little difficult to find in a car because there are no street signs but worth it once you find it, and there's parking! Delicious breakfast in a cellar room. Hotel has elevator. The staff...More
A very old property, tastefully modernised, with all you need to be comfortable for a short stay. Lacks a bar and other facilities that you might want if staying longer, but bars and restaurants are close by, as is the main attraction - the Alhambra -...More
A beautiful and peaceful haven on the edge of the old Moorish quarter. Opposite the Alhambra and near some good tapas bars and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped; the open courtyard with fountain, below the galleries which lead to the bedrooms, adds to...More

I don’t think the hotel books ahead. Their website has the link for tickets, though. Be sure you use the link on the hotel website because I remember having trouble booking too. We booked our tickets ahead 3 months to the day, we had read that tickets are limited since they don’t want the Alhambra too crowded. You could try for Alhambra by Night tickets, it was not as crowded and it was magical. You just don’t get to see quite as much and you don’t get to see the gardens. I would write to the hotel and ask if there is another way to get tickets. Also, if you’re driving, don’t let your GPS guide you, it may take you behind the hotel on a street above it where you cannot leave your car. It’s the narrowest street in Granada and we had 3 inches of clearance on either side of our midsize car. It was a difficult drive. When you are on the correct street it’s also very narrow and looks like a pedestrian zone, but you can get through.
