If you are looking for a typical Andalusian hostel and a warm welcome, but do not need the comforts of a grand hostel, this is the place for you. Mercedes and her assistant made us feel right at home, with access to the kitchen, including fridge and cooking. But the main thing is the hostel's central location, which enabled us...

This is an old Moorish house situated in central Granada. Mercedes the owner welcomed us when we arrived and proudly showed us around the house. Location is perfect for walking round the city. The facilities were a little too basic for us but everything was very clean. Shared bathrooms situated on both floors and a kitchen for guests to use...

It was a lovely place to stay! The place had a great feel about it, great beds, good bathroom, and plants everywhere!! Make note that reception is closed between 2 and 5pm, we didnt realise and arrived at 3! Good thing there were plenty of places to sit down with some beer and tapas to pass the time. Would stay...

The hostel is very comfortable - 2 common area rooms to eat, sit and relax or visit. A kitchen with cooking supplies plus some basics (salt, sugar, oil,..). Bathrooms are clean, showers have good pressure, wifi works in rooms + common areas, host is lovely, location is great (street noise a little noisy if you go to bed early but...

Sometimes you enter a place and it is kind of love at first sight. Almohada Hospedaje is a simple guesthouse for budget-travellers which combines the feel of a hostel with the luxury of a bit more luxurious accomodation. The place is full of little artistic details which are all very tasteful to my opnion. The location of the place is...

If you stay be sure to stay in the penthouse room number 12, the fresh air in the morning, the closeness to Botanica Cafe and the...

I've been in almohada for more than a month, cause i was studying in granada. I like travelling and I study tourism so i've seen many places around Europe and i can say that Almohada is the best place to stay for many reasons: -location: it is in the city centre, 5 minwalking from the cathedral, 5 min from the...

A stonesthrow from the Cathedral, this little gem is situated almost next to the small botanical gardens of Granada University. Inside the place is a lovely serene oasis, with a little patio to sit, an adequately equipped shared kitchen and a living/dining room to make plans or meet other travellers and the very welcoming and helpful women that own or...

Almohada Hospedaje was our home in Granada for four nights, and it was positively lovely. The colourful, comfortable and clean rooms are positioned around a gorgeous, sunny central courtyard full of plants and the wacky craft and artworks of the owner, Mercedes. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were clean and also decked out with the works of Mercedes, giving the...

We only stayed there for 2 nights but we enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately we arrived early (before 9), so we had to wait for the owner to get to the house; after that, check-in was completed in no-time (we didn't manage to pay by credit card though - their machine wanted us to type a 'secret code' and connection never...
