Small hotel, the rooms are all on one floor. Family atmosphere. Clean and fragrant room, large bathroom, small terrace, hairdryer and mini bar. You can take the key with you and in the evening you can come back whenever you want, the door opens with a code. Breakfast is not a buffet, but is prepared and served with attention, basic but sufficient. If you have a car there is the possibility of parking in a garage, but we found a place in a nearby street. The area is peripheral but quiet and safe, full of villas, adjacent to a hospital. The center can be easily reached by bus no. 33. The Alhambra can be reached by bus no. 13: it does not take you to the entrance, but to the start of the car parks, then you have to walk for 10 minutes. The ticket is purchased on board (€1.40). There are two different stops, and a few steps from the hotel, on the main street. If you book on the official website, and not on the famous portals, you will receive a welcome gift. End of April 2024, two nights, for a double room with breakfast I spent €120, paying at the end of the stay.

Hotel located halfway up the climb to the Alhambra, but relatively secluded to have a quiet atmosphere. We were in a double room which, although not excessively large, was well equipped (only stick; small bath towels). Simple style, functional and yet very clean, even individual terrace that we could not enjoy by the rain. Breakfast is more than generous and well worth it. Of note, the treatment and closeness of the couple who run it and Esther in reception,. super nice and helping in how to guide the visit to the city. To repeat!!!

The host was very helpful giving us a map, explaining the best public transport ways into town and to The Alhambra.
The hotel is a quirky design, all rooms are on one floor accessed along a winding corridor from the front to the back of the building. Everywhere was spotlessly clean.
You can park around the hotel in side streets but it was very busy, even at a quiet time of the year, we took the option of parking in the underground secure garage (€8 per night - well worth it for peace of mind).
Breakfast was a simple affair of bread, croissant and tea or coffee plus orange juice but was adequate.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, the first time I was so delighted that this second time I had to return to Granada I didn't even waste time looking elsewhere. Each time I have had different rooms, but both have been totally impeccable, the girl in charge of cleaning is a wonderful professional, the entire hotel smells clean from the moment you enter. The price seems very low to me for what it deserves in both comfort and personal treatment. A family hotel where at all times it gives you the impression of being in a relative's house, the owners make great efforts to ensure that the experience is completely optimal. I had to go as a patient to the Vithas hospital which is right at the door of the hotel, so for people in my situation I totally recommend it because it is door to door. The distance from the center is 10m and it is very well connected. I can only thank Pepe and his wife for the treatment they had with us, we will repeat without a doubt, they are two people who we would like to meet again. I went with my mother from the Canary Islands and we are both delighted. Greetings and thank you very much

Everything is perfect, very friendly staff, they explain everything to you, very good cleanliness of 10 and great breakfast. The hotel has a very good location since it has a bus stop very close and the Alhambra is very close, 5 minutes by bus. We will definitely return.

Everything very good.
The personal is ver kind and helpful.
Perfect cleaning.
There may be some noise in the rooms facing Hospital Avenue.
The bus combination to go to the center is very good, as the hotel has parking, you leave the car and go out carelessly.

You absolutely cannot beat the combination of this hotel’s location, price, quality of the rooms, and hospitality. First off, it’s situated in an excellent location, about a 3 minute drive from the Alhambra. Secondly, the rates are extremely affordable for the quality of the room you get. Ours was an excellent, up-to-date room with an incredible bed. The bed was so comfortable that I’m looking into trying to purchase one. Finally, the hospitality and attention you get is unbeatable. The owner and staff are unbelievably nice and helpful. They immediately helped us with any questions we had about the city, bus routes, attractions, etc. They really do treat you like family. They also provide a delicious, little breakfast every morning for about $2 euros. Parking is available outside but if it’s full, they also have a parking garage available for $5 euros a day. This was our favorite stay in our entire 14-day trip in Spain. I cannot recommend Hotel Albero enough. We definitely will be returning to Granada and when we do, we absolutely will be staying with our friends in Hotel Albero.

Ideal for a one night stop over in Granada, small, clean hotel, very good value, good on site parking.

The owner was very nice, he recommended a first rate restaurant, and provided a hearty breakfast, I have never seen a croissant so big.

Comfortable bed, sound proofed windows, spacious room.

I will be traveling by car. Is parking available?
Answer from Edwin F

We parked on the street at first but when we came back later in the evening there were no spaces. We parked in the hospital underground parking at no charge, but I think it depends on if staff are working. If no one is there they leave the barriers up.
