I traveled to Granada with my wife for our honeymoon. We were scheduled to stay at Casa 1800 for 3 nights, but ended up leaving after the first to book a different hotel. The hotel is relatively cheap, but extremely difficult to reach if you are arriving by car, and very noisy. It is in a very touristy area right...

I've stayed here before and once again, it's a lovely experience. Don't expect frills, it's not a hotel full of tricks, but it's quiet, well appointed rooms, nice small breakfast and afternoon tea, friendly staff, and great value. Go for the top Deluxe suite, it's huge and fantastic value compared to the much smaller junior suites. Gave to say though,...

Hidden away down a narrow Calle, the arrival here is a wonderful surprise. The situation at the foot of the Alhambra is perfect for being in the centre of the action. The Hotel is within a 17th Century Villa with loads of original features... the inner courtyard the perfect example. Our room was at the rear but beautifully appointed, and the elevator...

We spent two nights last week at the hotel and were very pleased with it. The hotel's design is terrific, with several historical elements incorporated in a tasteful manner. The staff are superb and eager to ensure a good stay. We would certainly stay here again on future trips to Granada.

The reception was served by amazing, friendly, young, knowledgeable staff and they made us feel welcome immediately. Our room was large with a lovely view of The Alhambra, and beautifully furnished. Free newspapers, free afternoon tea and soft drinks. Bed was superbly comfortable with well laundered sheets. Our room had tea making facilities. The location was superb for the historical...

This hotel was quiet and serene, well appointed, perfectly located for seeing the sights, had the best quaiity of breakfast foods we have had in Spain thus far, and the staff had a very generous hospitality.

This beautiful hotel on a quiet side street near the Albaizin provided a relaxing refuge from the busy city and non-stop sightseeing. The staff was especially helpful when it came to making recommendations and reservations. The double room, though very small, was beautifully appointed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast (additional cost) was pretty good-not great-but it surpassed...

We have stayed at many different hotels in Granada and elsewhere, those that say they are boutique and are really just themed a bit different. For me this hotel ticked all the boxes for boutique, small, exclusive, unique with all the comforts of home and a few extra treats as well. Clean, modern a/c, mini bar, tastefully decorated, kettle! in...

We stayed at Casa 1800 just last week for one night. The hotel is charming and has a great location at the foot of the Alahambra. What made our stay so special was the staff. We thank the front desk for taking our car to the garage and also bringing it back for us. We also can not thank the...

Situated in the old Arab quarter where only taxis and small buses are allowed Hotel Casa 1800 is a beautifully restored large riad style house with a typically inner courtyard. Well situated in walking distance of the Alhambra. Our room on 1st floor had an inner courtyard facing window typical of this style of building. Extremely courteous and helpful reception...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a charming hotel located in a fully restored XVII century historical building, the building is known as Casa de los Migueletes and served as the headquarters of the militia at the time. The hotel is decorated with chandeliers, frescos, cupolas and luxurious furnishings, always in keeping with the noble wood of the building whilst highlighting the Classicist and Mudejar elements of the original house. The rooms are elegant and cozy, some enjoy views of the Alhambra, inner courtyards, coffered ceilings and offer all kinds of amenities. The House is organised around a central courtyard where each morning breakfast is served and in the afternoon tea is offered to the hotel guests, who are treated to a family atmosphere and making the stay special and unforgettable. The charming hotel has a privileged location in the centre of Granada between the magical Albaicin and at the foot of the Alhambra.
