Detailed Reviews
The hostel is conveniently located. It's near the city centre, the popular Albayzin neighbourhood, the cathedral, the train station, and the like. It's in a nice area with many cafeterias and shops. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was extreme nice and they paid attention to every single request with a smile. Unfortunately, we where allocated a very noisy room. Please, avoid the rooms over the main avenue or the side street: they are very noisy because of the local traffic (never stops) and the many guys who pass by.

A good simple hotel to stray in the center of Granada. The hotel is simple but clean with a friendly staff. The rooms are also simple, and our bathroom was a bit small, but the mattress was really good for sleeping. The only downside is that the street can be a bit noisy.

This hostal offers really great value for money. Clean, comfortable room, great shower, and central location.
We were in room 504, which was very clean, beds small, and we could have done with an extra pillow, but considering how little was paid for the room, I have no complaints.
Freindly check in, elevator, free WiFi and good aircon.

We booked this Hostel through Booking.com as we had planned to travel from Seville to Granada to say for 2 nights. Unfortunately, the accommodation was not up to standards AT ALL. Pictures online were misleading and were off superior rooms of a higher price. Upon arrival we checked in and were unpleasantly surprised with our room. Our door was not even locked and was half open when we arrived. Opening the door caused insulation and saw dust to pour from the frame of the door and onto the floor. Inspecting the room; we found stains and dirt marks essentially all over the room on furniture and the walls alike. And then after five minutes of being in the room we had a random man enter our room without knocking giving both myself and my girlfriend a fright. After this event myself and my girlfriend decided we no longer felt comfortable or safe or that we could properly relax at this hostel / hotel. An overall incredibly disappointing experience, we checked out around 20 minutes after entering the room. The staff offered us an alternative room (no refund was offered or even available to us) however after so many low points after only being in this establishment for such little time we decided we would stay elsewhere and booked a hotel a few minutes walk from the hostel. Would not recommend. Incredibly dissatisfied and disappointing

+1
My daughter had stayed here last year and recommended it to us. Sadly our experiences with this place varied greatly. We booked a room for 3 months in advance to be given the tiniest room ever. It had 1 single bed and 1 double bed and 2 separate doors to balcony view. 1 set up of doors didn't work.
The room was so small we had difficulty storing 3 pieces of luggage (1 per person) unless they were completely closed and stored upright. If we would've left suitcases open and lying on the floor, we wouldn't have been able to enter the restroom or leave the room without jumping over suitcases.
Upon check in our room was very hot. A printed page of directions were given upon check in and they included instructions that it may take up to 10 minutes for the a/c to begin working. 30 minutes later the a/c was still only blowing hot air. We notified the front desk and they arrived shortly afterwards. Unknown to us (from reading the website or upon check in), guests cannot control the a/c units in their rooms. The front desk must enter the room with a remote control. We were asked what degree celsius we'd like it set at. We responded and the front desk person left. So, vacationers beware! Unless you want to continually call the front desk to come adjust the a/c temperature, choose your a/c setting wisely.
During night 1 while trying to go to sleep we heard water dripping. The a/c unit was installed above the rood door and was leaking. We placed towels on the floor and noticed this issue must have been going on for quite some time before we checked in because it was obvious the top of the door and some of the door trim were warped from the constant exposure to water. We notified the front desk the next morning and they sent someone to repair the unit. The repair was short lived and that evening we again got to listen to dripping water all night. The towels we placed on the floor the second night were soaked by the morning and the water had made its way into the hallway also.
But, the worst part about our room was the bathroom. It was disgusting. Please see pics. The bottom of the shower curtain was completely black with mold and the grout and caulk on the tub / tiles needed to be completely redone.
On a high note, the staff was friendly and daily we would see the hallways being cleaned and mopped (including the staircase). Too bad some of those cleaning efforts weren't put towards the bathrooms.
The location is fabulous and located near many restaurants, etc. However, based on our experience here we'd look for accommodations elsewhere the next time we're in Granada.

If you want a reasonable hotel right downtown on Gran Via that is comfortable clean and friendly, come here. Our bedroom is not huge but it is nice and the bed is very comfortable. The staff is lovely. Breakfast is across the street but so what. We are right on the street but cannot hear any noise.

Very pleased with the hostel. Placed in the heart of the city. The location couldn't be better. There are tons of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. And everything you want to visit is walking distance.

Cheap rates but I wish we'd paid more than EUR 42 for a pleasant room in another hotel where someone at the desk can manage a smile. Room was bare, mattress a bit uncomfortable. Location was on main street.
