My favourite place to stay in Granada. The house has been in Lorena the owner's family for hundreds of years and being at the bottom of the old Arab quarter the Albaicin, is very convenient. It's homey, elegant and has an exquisite garden to sit in. If you speak a little Spanish all the better - guests are usually interesting...

The Albaicin is home to a least a dozen small boutiquey hotels, but few are a match for Cobertizo. The hotel is hidden away in a narrow street a short stroll from Plaza Nueva. Push aside the solid old oak door and you enter a covered, columned patio where you can flop onto one of the sofas that sit amongst...

We spent a wonderful week at the Carmen del Cobertizo. The house itself is beautiful, the owner Lorena and her staff are so very friendly, warm, and helpful. The breakfast is simply lovely. After a days in the heat, it's just perfect to come back to such cool and peaceful tranquility. The plunge pool is also a must. I would...

Compared to most people I know and having compared other people's reviews of places and hotels with my own experiences and impressions, I think I can safely say that I am rather skeptical and very reserved in my judgements. Having said that, I have only praise for the Carmen del Corbetizo. The three nights that my wife and I spent...

It is a beautiful Renaissance palace that has been refurbished to the highest standards . It has an interior patio, a plunge pool and a lovely garden. Although it is right in the...

This small B&B was great for our short stay in Granada. The family that runs the place is extremely nice, but their English isn't very good, so you will need some Spanish to be able to communicate. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and it is a charming property with many areas to relax. Breakfast was very comforting and...

Ok the shower is kinda leaking... Ok there is not TV in "the suite"... But this place is magic. An old Andalusian carmen decorated with family furnitures and pictures. You feel like spending a weekend at your old aunt from Granada. You'll enjoy the laziness of the afternoon by the (mini) pool under a fruit tree. The owners are the...

We were lucky enough to have 4 nights at Carmen del Cobertizo in May & couldn't have been happier. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by everyone involved in the smooth running of the place. The décor of the place was beautiful and the whole house had a very calming feel to it. It...
