Visited with a group and had an excellent evening meal here with a view over the Alhambra which could not be beaten. Worth a visit although I subsequently gather that it is linked to the University of Granada and I was with a group linked to them so not sure how easy it is to visit without such a link...

This carmen is owned by the University of Granada and is a meeting and lodging place for them. But, if you buzz at the door they will happily let you in to wander the marvelous gardens with great views of the Alhambra. There will probably be no one else there, so you can enjoy the gardens in solitude. An oasis...

This Carmen is linked to the Granada University. It is supposed to be open only to students and employees of the UGR (for exemple they have rooms for visitors, etc.), however, if you push the buzzer, there is a good chance that the concierge will let you in without a fuss. After that, you'll have all the garden open to...

Try to get invited by the University of Granada, since the Carmen alone is worth the trip! I have had the pleasure for several years now, and invariably leave the place with regrests, fervently hoping I will have the chance to return. The praise of the gardens and the marvelous views of the Alhambra is rightly sung by other visitors....

It is to be mentioned that one must be connected with the University of Granada to stay here. We loved how the small busses (31,32 & 35) were easy to catch across the street and so cheap with a pass. Try to request a room on the Alhambra side at the end. accommodation includes full pension, but dinner can be...

The Carmen de la Victoria has some of the most breathtaking views of the Alhambra that can be gotten in Granada. Situated in the Albacin (a moorish neighborhood on the hill opposite the Alhambra, separated by a steep and narrow valley), the property literally stares out across the valley at the Alhambra which, when lit up at night, occupies your...

The Carmen de la Victoria is a small, well-situated hotel in the Albaicin neighborhood of Granada. It has a beautiful garden and wonderful views of the Alhambra from some of its rooms. (Our view was of the parking spaces.) The staff at the Carmen de la Victoria is competent, but only one person among the staff spoke any English. Rooms...

“This is not a hotel so many of the rating factors don't apply.”

“My impression is that there is not much to choose, though for longer stays better rooms (= at the front, with a view of the Alhambra; those overlooking the side garden/gate are not bad either) are allotted.”
