It's not only that the hotel lost our reservation. But at least they could have offered us a drink, or at least a place for our children to wait while they went through the process of checking and validating and looking for another hotel.
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived which is always a good sign. We were a party of eight and all our rooms were arranged together on the third floor. The rooms were clean and well furnished although some...More
We stayed a midweek in this hotel and it was simply perfect. The rooms were clean and spacious, shower, toilet, all was ok. Nice bed and pillows.

Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend. Good points; friendly helpful staff. Nice rooms (calm decor, modern but in keeping with Spanish themes), tea coffee facility in room, separate shower, gym (opened for us during siesta time which was most appreciated), pool, spa and sauna (pay extra),...More

The main bus station is not within easy walking distance of the hotel. Depending on your luggage you could get a taxi direct to the hotel for about 15 euros or grab one of the circular buses which will take you into either Plaza Nueva ( C1 or C2 ) or Reyes Catolicos ( C3 or C4 ) in the Centre. Walk for 5 minutes down to Puerta Real de Espana. San Antón is a further two minute walk. Easy and a good way of finding your bearings as you’ll be walking this route many times. By the way if you do book this hotel do try the restaurant opposite and slightly to the right of the main entrance. ( Veracruz. See my separate report ) Good fresh food and fantastic value. Most of the clientele are Spaniards.
