It looks like the hostel's name changed recently; it is now called Babel Hostel Sevilla. Cons: cockroaches in the bathroom; no wifi (the public computer upstairs also doesn't work); cramped, dark, and stuffy rooms. The hostel is located about a 15-20 minute walk from the Seville Cathedral and Alcázar. The owners are friendly but not particularly helpful in terms of... More

I'm well travelled and in my opinion this has to be the best hostel for solo travellers. The staff are incredibly friendly. There is always someone to speak with, whether it's breakfast or dinner time. Free breakfast and dinner. There is also a free walking tour and pub crawl. You just cant go wrong in this place!

I stayed in Babel Hostel Sevilla recently and wanted to review it on TripAdvisor but could not find it. I stumbled across this hostel listing and it has the same address and the photos look like a differently-modeled version of our Babel Hostel. Definitely the same layout and location. I assume it's changed ownership or at least branding recently. Very... More

Really nice atmosphere, free vegeterian dinners every night and the guys at the reception, giuliano and mateo made sure we had the best time we could. The cook is really nice as well at cooking and relating to all the guests. No regrets, great price for what you actually get, would recomend it to anyone traveling alone or in small... More

The two person bedroom features its own bathroom and plenty of space. The communal area in the middle was tidy and cute! Wifi was good, too. The Alameda is an absolutely wonderful location, and this hostel is close enough to the action to make you feel excited but is far enough away that it's not super noisy all night every... More

Really enjoyable stay: I met a lot of nice people, it was excellent value, the receptiononist Minna was really nice and showed us the night clubs in Seville every single night. Strongly recommend it, especially for young people.

We stayed at Hostel One in Seville for a total of four days, and had a great experience. The hostel was very clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the location of the hostel is perfect and provided easy access to all the things we wanted to see. There was free sangria provided at night and the... More

This place is great. In a traditional Andalusian with inner courtyard and a nice fully-equipped kitchen (with free coffee and tea!) that feels just like home. You have to pay 1 euro for the towel and the beds aren't state-of-the-art, but I slept well and the rooms were big! Comes with a locker that locks, a big plus, and the... More

Amazing hostel! Location is perfect, just by the Alameda and the Macarena area. Lots of good and cheap bars, clubs, restaurants around. The staff was very helpful, showing us around, arranging (free) tours, flamenco shows, sangria nights. It's nice, laid back but very attentive. The house really gives the feel of Andalucia. Tiles, flamenco decoration, spanish music and all. Clean... More

“Rooms away from the street (even if it is a quiet sidestreet) will be quieter as the nightlife runs late in Andalucia and there a few bars nearby.”

“Choose this hotel because the rates are lower than other hostels in the Santa Cruz neighborhood. Hostel One Sevilla Alameda is located only a few minutes walk away from all the popular places. If you enjoy historical art and paintings, be sure to visit Museo Bellas Artes (Museum of Fine Arts) which is located very close to this hostel.”
