Hotel Simon is in fantastic location to tour Seville. It is about a block from the cathedral but in a residential neighborhood of beautiful apartment buildings and local restaurants. Our standard room was huge with a large bathroom. The lobby is beautiful and the building is a 300 year old mansion. Ask for a room that does not face the...

Great location and price but I can not help but get the feeling that it was once a grand hotel and has not been maintained to that level(see the fountain at the entrance). However if you don't mind a few loose tiles, an aging paint job and what I would say not the friendliest reception staff then it's a good...

This is a budget hotel in an amazing location. The lobby is not bad but the rooms definitely need work. The staff were surprisingly helpful, but they need to do more to guide tourists in what to do in the area, where to eat etc. For a budget hotel it is not bad.

Myself, my daughter and my baby granddaughter stayed at the Hotel Simon for 3 nights at the beginning of December. The location is fantastic, so close to the Cathedral, Real Alcazar, Jewish Quarter and everything else we wanted to see. Surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurant. We had breakfast on our first morning at Bar Perea just around the...

Great location close to the Cathedral and Alcazar. Hotel is clean but needs some TLC. We had a traditional ground floor rooms but our window was high up and tiny and looked out onto a ventilation shaft! Beware - the ground floor rooms can be noisy early in the morning when the deliveries start! Breakfast was ok - but a...

The caption says it all. Certainly the hotel is basking in it's former glory BUT it's clean, it's friendly, staff speak English and other languages I would guess and it is THE best position in Seville for a first time visit. Everything is nearby...restaurants, tapas, bars, and all the main sights. It doesn't quite live up to it's brochure or...

I chose this hotel because of other positive reviews, and the excellent location, but I wish I had spent more money and stayed elsewhere. Perhaps this was because I was a solo traveller, but I was given a tiny room with a dismal view of the air conditioning vents, making me feel like an afterthought. The bed was the most...

Excellent location very close to the major attractions in the centre of historic Seville with lots of interesting bars and restaurants only moments from the hotel. Walk everywhere easily. Very pleasant and helpful staff. This is described as an 18th century former mansion and it retains its air of charm and slightly faded opulence. Really enjoyed our week stay here,...
