I chose this hotel after the reviews on tripadvisor- I was a little worried as I don't usually stay in 2 star accommodation but I was delighted with my stay. The hotel is in the best historical area, full of character and atmosphere. The room was clean and functional, it was noisy but you could easily keep the windows closed...

The Taxi driver dropped us on "Avenida Menendez Pelayo" and pointed us towards a very narrow street "Calle Antonio El Balarin"; at the end of this street is "Plaza Alfaro", he said. From there you walk up "Calle Lope de Rueda" and the hotel Murillo is there. It was only a few minutes to get there passing through what the...

We chose this hotel for the rooftop view and the location. The cab cannot drop you off in front of the hotel because the hotel is located on a little alley way, which makes it quaint. Don't worry it is not a long walk with your luggage, unless you have a lot of luggage. The rooftop has a great view...

As you well said, the views from the terrace in the rooftop are amazing and the Hotel Murillo is very well located in the city centre. The Catedral, the Alcázar, the Plaza de España and some more monuments are just within a walking distance. I also...

This place is above average for a two star hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the main areas had a lot of character. The roof top bar was a real plus - a bottle of wine watching the sun go down is a pleasant way to start an evening. We booked a suite, which may have been...

This Hotel and Apartment complex is an ideal location. We stayed in an apartment. There is no real kitchen just a fridge and microwave. You have to wash your cups in the bathroom. However, if you are in Seville why would you cook. The place is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very basic but good. The staff were...

The Murillo Hotel is in Bario Santa Cruz in Seville. It is two star hotel that behaves above his ratings in many ways. First is a superb location, second the staff as Ramón at Arrival and Irene at check out. The breakfast staff are very laborious although the place is small and could get crouded. The beds are very hard....

Hidden away in a quiet lane this hotel offers a very warm welcome and perfect location by foot. Close to cathedral and other top attractions, but feels secluded as access is down a narrow street. Clean and tidy with good facilities. Breakfast slightly adequate and served until quite late in the morning. A real gem, I would come again.

If you're considering this hotel in Seville don't be put off by 1) no car access 2) 3 star rating and 3) no bar. The car thing is easy to sort out.
