As we had paid only £42 for a night at the Murillo we really didn't expect very much but as it was only a short stay we decided to take a chance. What a pleasant surprise. A lovely reception and very helpful staff who speak perfect English. The room was very small and this could be a problem if you...

Stayed here for 2 nights in late December. Great location and within walking distances to attractions. The hotel is now fully renovated. Our room included breakfast. There were an assortment of breads, deli meat, fresh fruit and canned fruits, cereals, yogurt and drinks. Hotel is easy to find if your taxi drops you off at S. Teresa. Lots of eateries...

This hotel is a wonderful find. After previously reading such positive reviews, we booked here as we were only in Seville for one night and needed to make the most of it. Although the hotel entrance can be difficult to find admistthe maze of little streets and paths, once there the beautiful lobby is very inviting and the staff extremely...

We stayed for 5 nights in the Murillo and were not disappointed. It appears to be close to finishing an extensive restoration, there was still some minor work going on but it was not intrusive. Our room was spacious (ground floor 108) and recently decorated. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and courteous and spoke...

Hotel Murillo is in a quaint area of Seville-- great location. What the guidebooks say about the interior of the hotel, however, may be different from what you experience for a while to come. We arrived and were disappointed to find that the "suits of armor" and "mansion-like feel" were nowhere to be had, as the entire hotel is being...

A nice hotel in a great location but it not easy to find. The taxi dropped us off at Pza Santa Cruz from which it is about 50m away doen a small street. there are many bars and restaraunts nearby and it only about 200m from the Cathedral and Alcazar. Very reccomendable.

The Hotel is very well located - a 5 minute walkaway from the Cathedral and the Alcazar, in a quaint maze of streets which buzz with life. The approach path does not facilitate vehicular access but the hotel does help with the luggage. At first we had a rather small room and were woken up by a lot of noise...

This hotel has some very good points - good location (in the narrow pedestrianised streets of Santa Cruz), friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast (4 Euros each). However, the rooms are teeny tiny. We're the sort of people that put up with most things. If you book online, you have to take your chances. Over the years, we've...

Just returned from four days in Seville, stayingat the Hotel Murillo - which is situated in a pedestrianised part of the Santa Cruz area, just a few minutes walk through narrow streets to the Alcazar and Cathedral. The hotel has been extensively renovated (almost complete apart from part of reception and although this was still in progress during our stay...

i'm a local & but my boyfriend is not, so i thought that it would be a good idea to stay in a nice-small hotel in the centre, but i would better recommend to stay in bigger hotels with powerful a/c & a swimmingpool. Believe me, Seville is too hot in summertime & hotels are quite cheap 'cos it's low...
