We recently spent 3 comfortable nights at Casa del Maestro. Although we were slightly put off by the surroundings as we drove up to the hotel, we quickly realized that the location was safe and afforded an easy walk into the city centre. Having one of Seville's most revered tapas bars around the corner was great too! Our room was...

A very warm welcome received on arrival by Alexis who continued to advise the best sights and two of the best tapas bars. The room was spotlessly clean, with a wonderful firm bed and the softest of sheets. Arrived back each afternoon to find a very well received jug of iced water and jelly babies. The breakfast was ample -...

We chose this hotel as we wanted to stay in a traditional style hotel that wasn't chintzy - we weren't disappointed. The bedrooms are stylish and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel generally has a calm, civilised and friendly atmosphere, and we had a fantastic stay.

La casa del maestro is a lovely converted house of famous guitarist Niño Ricardo, each room is decorated differently, very tastefully in Andalusian style, bathrooms are delightfull. The Cathedral area of Santa Cruz is a short walk along the narrow ancient streets of this enchanting city. If shopping is your thing, the Centro is also a short walk. A wonderfull...

Staying here was a delight, from the wonderful staff who looked after us (carrying our bags up the stairs) to the beautiful and individual rooms, the roof terrace, the breakfasts, the information and the genuine sense of staying in a unique setting. Easy access to most of Seville.

I stayed at this hotel in early June with a group of friends. We had wonderfully decorated rooms, each in a different and unique style. It felt like a home away from home. The small details such as the Etro toiletries in the bathroom, and the different treats left in the bedroom every day (chocolates or sweets), as well as...

We had a wonderful time at our stay here, got an upgrade as our twin room was not yet prepared, and the breakfast was excellent which had no set finishing time, great for a lie on after enjoying the local beverages.

Having read the previous reviews we must admit to being somewhat disappointed following our recent one night stay here. We have travelled extensively in Spain and are used to finding our way through the laberynth of city streets but on arrival the hotel was difficult to locate and we saw no signs for it. The parking is a few minutes...

Enjoyed three nights at del Maestro, lovely roof terrace and breakfast, shame about the builders, guess we were just unlucky. Staff helpful at booking Flamenco Tablao le Arenal but suggest you dont eat there. The Flamenco show at the museum was outstanding. The Serico bikes are just fantastic really worth working out how to get them, We used them every...

A beautiful, small former family home, meticulously restored with superb taste. All amenities. Staff incredibly gracious and helpful, proud of their establishment. It made our trip to Seville to stay there.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This house is a tribute to Nino Ricardo, a tribute to those who love beautiful and simple pleasures of life, a tribute to the great music and, above all, a tribute to those who love Seville. It was originally the house of the master of the flamenco guitar, Niño Ricardo, and a typical nineteenth-century courtyard which was first rehabilitated and expanded by the master himself in the 60's to subsequently be rehabilitated and adapted by his family to its current use as a Hotel. The eleven rooms are built around the central courtyard, each one of them with a different decorative motive inspired by songs of the Master... eleven compositions, eleven different stories. From the courtyard of the Hotel you can access the lounge or the library of the House, where you might enjoy a good read, a good breakfast, a drink or a chat.On the top floor of the Hotel we have the roof where our guests can let their imagination free... or perhaps have breakfast, dinner, a drink, read a book... but be careful... La Giralda is watching us!!! ... more   less
