The hotel is situated in the heart of Sevilla. Beautiful building with lots of art and authentic details. The room was large and the beds were too. The beds were good. The room was lacking a decent chair of sofa. The room was a bit chilly, even at night with the windows closed. The cleaning was standard. The wifi was solid and good. The hotelroom doesn't have a fridge or a safe. We didn't visit the restaurant so we can't tell anything about it. We enjoyed having breakfast nearby among the locals. Reception desk wasn't as full of service as we are used to.They couldn't book us tickets for the Real Alcazar by example. They weren't allowed to else they would certainly do this for us.
Tucked away in the centre of old town Sevilla, this hotel is in a beautifully restored 15thC convent and is thoroughly delightful. Beautiful decor and furnishings, decent breakfast, perfect location and friendly staff.... I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else to explore this charming, historic city.
This is a beautiful place with the most convenient location. It is ten minutes from the train station, And 40 seconds from the Cathedral. It is located close to everything! Apart from that it has a cafeteria open all day. Breakfast is delicious. The Tapas are definitely the best! Associates are very friendly as well. They have a formal restaurant and a Flamenco show! This is my spot to stay when I come back to Sevilla!
Unfortunately I booked this overpriced hostel based on its location in the old town which is home to some of the best historic features of this beautiful city. The hotel is in urgent need of maintenance and upgraded facilities, see photos. No fridge or safe in the room, poor service in the bar, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Stayed here for a few nights in January 2018 as a solo traveller - got a really great deal online, making this place fantastic value for money given the very central location. Very easy to explore the whole city on foot, and just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cathedral (which I could see part of from my room, in fact). I upgraded room for a small fee to make sure I had one with a window, as I'd read elsewhere that the cheaper rooms were without natural light. The upgraded room was also of a really good size - not pokey at all - with a decent size double bed, and plenty of storage. The bathroom was a good size too, with a bath and showerhead instead of just a shower cubicle. I'd recommend this place if you want somewhere a bit more interesting than a chain hotel - it's a really unusual place with bags of character. It's an old convent building, which I loved, and has lots of religious and traditional art, sculptures, and paintings everywhere. The furniture is also all quite old and ornate - very unique, and very much in keeping with the rest of Seville. Oh, and you even lock your room the old school way - with a physical key which you have to hand into reception every time you leave (this is possibly marginally inconvenient for some, I guess, but not really a big deal). I found the staff to be friendly and helpful whenever I interacted with them - and unlike some other guests, I thought it was really easy to find. Maybe they've updated their signage recently - they're down a little side-road, but it's well-marked and I didn't struggle at all. If I were to look for a criticism, it would possibly be that it can be a little spooky if you're wired to think that way. It's also maybe not for everyone - I would say that if you're looking for a cookie-cutter hotel, or you want somewhere super modern, this isn't the right place. But if you want somewhere a little different, this is a great choice. I'd definitely stay here again!
