The Good: 55e/night for a single, decent sized room. Room pretty nice, nothing fancy but more than decent. Bathroom with a bath. Free wi-fi, they even have a sign in the lift saying to ask at reception for your free wi-fi in the room. Friendly staff, plus one of them commented that she likes Australia :) Great location for seeing...

Dear Guest from Australia. We love Australian people!!, and it is funny because there is a very long distance, all the way across the Ocean to get to Spain and specially to Zaragoza ( which is not as famous as Madrid or Barcelona) , but we have many Australian travellers that come to our hotel to visit Zaragoza. and stay...

We loved the location of this hotel, near the Basilica. The staff was really over-the-top helpful. BUT: Parking in their lot is a nightmare - literally. I woke up in the middle of the night terrified I wouldn't be able to get the rental car back out without serious damages. It is like a concrete corkscrew - very narrow, very...

Dear Guests from California. We are very sorry you didn´t enjoyed very much you stay with us, mainly because of the noise of the people of the room next door. You are totally right and we appreciate very much your opinion. I think the reason was that the group of teenagers that stayed in the hotel that week end, they...

Nice choice in Zaragoza. A perfect retreat in a tired day. Although apearently is a small hotel the truth is that is a great hotel, with beautiful rooms and a very good price. Brilliant location and over all has a lovely staff with a good service and a good breakfast. I'll stay there in my next visit to Zaragoza.

My spouse and I stayed two nights (26 & 27 June 2009) at the Hotel Sauce in Zaragoza, my spouse to attend the Metalway Festival, and me for sightseeing. At the time of reservation, we obtained a superdeal through their website: 60 euros for a large double room, large "matrimonio" bed, and breakfast buffet, taxes included. This turned out to...

Dear guests from Quebec: Sooo happy you enjoyed your stay with us!! I will tell our friendly Pili you loved our buffet breakfast and I will congratulate all our reception staff for the good attention to our guests. On the day which we had reserved, it was difficult getting into Zaragoza and to the Hotel Sauce. Ongoing construction meant that the main access into the Hotel's street (Espoz y Mina) was blocked. So we went to the Turismo office for help (which took some time and routing), and Turismo called Hotel Sauce for directions -- which worked. One...

We stayed here for 3 separate periods while we toured Spain and France, visiting my daughter who lived in Zaragoza. The owner went out of his way to make us welcome, helping personally with luggage and parking (which is almost across the street); the staff helped with advice on tapas restaurants and shops. The location is *perfect*, within walking distance...

The location is fabulous-- close to all the city's sites. In addition, the room was fabulous and clean. And the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The only complaint is that the building looks old. When I got to the 5th floor, I noticed that the hall needed to be painted, and one of the lights was broken. Since I was...

Dear Guest, We are happy you enjoyed your stay with us! My wife and I stayed at one of the apartments close to the Cathedral square. Our friends rented another one. Everything was perfect - including the kitchen /fridge,dishwashing machine, etc./ A little recommendation for the staff: it would be good to leave a little salt, a little olive oil and vinegar - if a tourist needs some of them to...

Stayed here for 3 nights in April, in between visiting Madrid & Barcelona. This was a very good choice, very friendly and in an excellent central location. For a one-night stay in Zaragoza, this hotel was adequate. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, but there was one major drawback that made our stay very unpleasant, and that was the chemical-lemon smell of an automatic room deodorizer that could not be shut off. I believe that this device was installed to counteract the...

So sorry about the lemon deodorizer and thank you vey much for letting us know. This is the only room in the hotel with a deodorizer, we will try to find a solution so that is not a nuisance to other guests. If you have the chance to come again to our hotel, we will definitely give you another room...
