Detailed Reviews
Reserved a Superior Club Room and was not disappointed . Room Very Spacious and being on a corner had windows on both sides so room had lots of light. Bathroom was very large with a huge Spa Bath. The room was clean and maintained very tidy and exactly as we expected having stayed at other Silken Hotels. Reception Staff were very friendly and helpful. Car Parking was ideal and for Spain had very large Parking Spaces. Dined one night in the Hotel Restaurant which was average pasta dish was cold when served but quickly rectified. Staff appeared to be under pressure. Breakfast was very good with lots of items available on the buffet. Staff arranged for an omelette to be cooked to my specification. Would sty there again.

+1
In GijĂłn, a city hotel very well located next to the train station and a 10-minute walk from the aquarium and the beach. Good service at reception, cafeteria-restaurant and rooms. Everything clean and simple. We traveled as a family with two 2-year-old twins and they put cribs in the rooms as we requested. The best thing about the stay is that they allow 1 hour of swimming at no cost to those staying and we were able to access it with the girls. There are two indoor pools in the same area in the third basement, one of them is a spa with jets and hot water. It is also very convenient that there is a garage in the same basement and an elevator to the bedroom floor. We visited the GijĂłn aquarium and we will return in spring to see the botanical garden. A good proposal to stay and visit the city and its tourist options with little boys or girls.

Carpets are threadbare, seat in room threadbare, people smell in the room. Doors a bit battered… so a tired hotel.
Car parking good underneath. 9 euros
Breakfast had great choice, maybe not great quality for what do you expect from a 4 star hotel prices but you could choose what you wanted. And it was extensive.
I was told the pool was good, but you have to use a cap. 3.50 euros, never come across this before. And of course the explanation given by the owner of Regulations” is I assume a joke?
He means his regulations not the city of Gijon regulations not the country of Spain regulations…. Maybe the owner has watched too many faulty towers episodes and thinks that is how you run a hotel? Does feel that after being used since 2006 it needs to be refurnished, but why bother if customers keep coming!
If it was in the UK it would be out of business as charging three times more than it was worth. They will boil some water for you to collect from reception. But again I am surprised the regulations allow guests to walk around with boiling water in cups! We haven’t been allowed to do that where I work in UK for at least 10 years.
Still at least we have the safety of a cap whilst swimming so what is a few burns compared to what you could catch from someone swimming without a cap. It was a shame the receptions did not ask if I had a good stay.. I can only assume it is because they get so many honest answers! Still they are trained to ask for payment before you stay, which I suppose I should have realised why when I checked in. As you may have guested won,t be staying again. Still it was not in the red light district so some upside.

Good hotel in general terms, the room becomes small when adding the extra bed. Daily cleaning was excellent. Good food in a restaurant/cafeteria with great attention and friendliness from the staff. The breakfast buffet is very complete with very good coffee. Although its location is not central, with a 20-minute walk you are in the most emblematic places. The laundry service is somewhat expensive. Thank you for your attention.

Excellent service, breakfast not included and cozy room, the bed could be better
It has a good location, close to the train museum, aquarium and Poniente beach.
I would recommend that they put coffee inside the room

The hotel super well, 15 meters walk to the center, spacious and well equipped rooms, clean with free spa (all a detail)
It is worth the Gala Restaurant of the hotel itself, how beautiful it is and depends that waiter this you get a bad or good taste in the mouth, we highlight the attention of the waiter David Pomar for his good work, his famine ,you can tell when one likes his work
We tried the New Year's menu and really expected something more special
We'll come back and wait the next time we get a good taste in our mouths

Highly recommended.
Spacious rooms, cleanliness, large and comfortable bed, very good service, very friendly.
In addition, the quality-price ratio was very good and it was included in the price to be able to enter the pool-spa.
We will repeat without a doubt

Currently, the rooms on the fifth floor where we stayed have undergone an improvement and it has been an excellent comfort. The room with a large double bed and also a shower tray with capacity for 2 people, unbeatable. It may be one of the best buffet breakfasts I have ever been to, however I missed some more gourmet or healthy products such as smoked salmon, hunted cheese, avocado, etc. The hotel service staff has been very pleasant as expected and helped us a lot when it came to location, tourist attractions and places to eat.
Don't miss anything.
