Hotel Arriaga is a very good hotel. It is next to the river. The old city is just around the corner and the new city just across the river. It is a family run hotel and the son Jon is doing the reception. Jon is not much a talker but friendly , politely and helpful. The room is big enough...

I found this hotel by accident when the pension I had booked claimed overbooking and referred me here. How lucky I was to stumble upon such a well located, well priced and pleasant hotel. The family who run Arriaga are warm and delightful. I stayed almost a week due to a health problem and could not fault the overall cleanliness...

The hostal is well located and has underground parking but it may be unhealthy to stay here because the towels and linen look dirty. Be careful also with the use of the bathroom as it may harbor fungus. My wife and I had a fungus infection after we stayed here spring of 2016. I hope Rick Steves updates his book...

We thought that we were given grandma's bedroom, except grandma was in the living room right outside our door, watching the TV. The place smelled of cigarettes and had ash trays in the room, despite the no smoking policy. Ancient and very worn towels and bedding.

One had holes which had been sewed! The wall had coke stains The bath needed a clean We asked to be moved and were offered a similar room...

I would recommend this charming family-run hotel to anyone during their stay in Bilbao. First and foremost, Arriaga is in a great location-- right at the corner of the old town and a walking distance from just about anything in the city. We felt very safe walking home at any time of the day. Secondly, the facility was kept very...

The room was clean, the bed was ok. But for the price we paid the qualitiy of the bed was really good. The two armchairs in our room were too old, a change would be necessary. The hotel is located very close to the old part of the city, where you can find a lot of nice places and great...

We found this gem of a place to spend our night in Bilbao the weekend of the carnival. Its location was the first of many appeals. We were within minutes of the heart of old town, conveniently near the Plaza Nueva where the carnival concert was happening. The hotel was able to accommodate our car at a modest extra charge....

We found the hotel on the internet. The hotel is perfectly situated on the corner of the old town with all its restaurants and night life. The city centre is only a couple of minutes walk away, and the tramway stops right outside the hotel and will take you directly to all the interesting places to see in Bilbao, including...

We enjoyed our stay in this small city hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated near the city centre. And a car park is situated beneath the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
