We spent four nights here while on vacation in San Sebastian. As far as location, it's hard to beat. 15 minute walk from the Renfe train station, and right in Old Town. You walk out the door some of the best pinxtos bars are within 50 feet of your door. A 10 minute walk will get you to the beach...

This is located at the starting point of old town which has many good tapas bars. So, the location is really good. But there are several things to point out. - Price is a bit higher than average hostels. The room was spacious, but not quite great. - There is no staff residing. It seems they run both of bar...

I just spend two days in this hostel but I would have liked stay more. The location can't be any better, just in the center close to every main turistic spots and in the heart of the pintxos and tapas bars and restaurants. The place is very nice and tidy, new furnitures and a really friendly decoration. I will recommend...

We arrived a bit late as our train was delayed so it was nice of John who was waiting for us on his day off to see us to the room. We ended up in an actual house with bedrooms, living and dining rooms, kitchen and bathroom when we paid for shared bathrooms. It is in a super location so...

Lovely clean rooms (and hostel) in the heart of the San Sebastian old town. Perfect for a budget getaway in northern Spain. Make sure you read the emails on the exact location though, as the hostel can be hard to find!

Well I found this hostel very good. Although it is in the old part of town and I was driving which was very difficult to park. I paid for extra parking at 17€/day but this was around a 10 min walk away. You can meet many different travellers. While I was there the Donostia film festival was on, so there...

This place is situated 2 minutes from the best Tapas Bars in the World. The room, although having no window, was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant. Great value for San Sebastian.

Stayed two nights here. Excellent location right in the heart of the old town. Little pricy for a hostel compared to other cities though. We had a twin room, very clean and towels provided but no air-con and it was quite noisy at night as just above bars, restaurants etc. Good sized kitchen which was well stocked with everything for...

I've never stayed in a hostel before and the Kaixo is in an excellent location to enjoy the old part and the tapas experience!! It's part of a bar/restaurant which liked great and a cocktail bar which wasn't so good. But because of the location it was super noisy. We were very happy with our room at the front of...

Great location for a weekend in San Sebastián. Bathroom showers were an issue though as both were broken so hopefully they fix them soon. No reception desk but they meet and use the cafe next door as the base. Otherwise would stay here again as the location in amongst the old town is fantastic!
