This is a cosy Pension, handily situated. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, as was Anais, who met us when we arrived and gave us useful tips on where to eat. The communal kitchen area, where you can make breakfast or a light meal is a bonus. We had only a very short stay in Donostia but will definitely...

On a recent touring holiday we stayed in 6 different places. Whilst I have no complaints about any of them this was easily the best of all. Fantastic service (24 hours) and just the right mixture of privacy and communal space. Our room and terrace was lovely and the communal kitchen/ living room really useful.

I love the location of the pension. It's far enough from the crowds of the old city and close enough so it's only a 10 minute walk away. The street is close to the surf beach and a great street for cafés and restaurants. The pension is beautiful, clean, modern and the rooms are elegant yet unpretentious. The kitchen is...

What a lovely place! I'm usually a high-end traveler and wouldn't consider a hostel. This was my fifth trip to San Sebastian with one stay at an ultra luxury hotel and now four local pensions, which is the way to go in this town. My room was spacious with a double bed with a small table and chair, plus a...

The hostel is very charming and has basic kitchen facilities for guests. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to make sure the guests feel at home. We were even given sunscreen and beach towels. This was one of the best stays I've ever had. I highly recommend this place!

Very nicely appointed rooms, very well laid out. The location is great in a happening neighborhood with lots to do and close to the surfing beach. We followed our host Paulo's advice on where to eat and it has been the highlight of our trip so far. Thanks so much Paulo!

Aia is a friendly, small and good-price pension. The hostess was very kind and nice to us. Clean and well-mantained. Modern atmosphere. There are plenty of supermarkets in the area, where you can buy food to cook at the micro-wave of the kitchen. You can also have at any time cookies, milk or cereals at the kitchen

Our stay in Pension Aia was an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in the door we knew we had chosen the right place to stay in San Sebastian. The two hosts were very friendly and gave us loads of great advise. If you are looking at booking somewhere to stay in San Sebastian, book Pension Aia.

We spent three nights in this hostel in Zurriola in San Sebastian and we had a great time. Paulo and his wife are incredibly helpful and nice. Gave us lots of good tips and even offered towels and sun umbrella for the beach. The room had everything we needed and of a decent size, very smartly setup. It was a...
