Think 1970's English seaside hotel .... smell of stale food , damaged dated furniture , very uncomfortable beds with stained linen , and you've got this place . After an uncomfortable noisy sleepless night even the breakfast was awful ( soggy croissants that even three hungry teenage boys couldn't force down , stale bread , fruit yoghurts that had separated...

we stayed two nights in the hotel. the rooms are clean and small, but absolutely fine. we didn't miss anything. we didin't try the breakfast buffet. we preferred to visit the multiple bars in the neighbourhood. the location is great, 5min walk to the playa de la concha and 15min walk to thw city center. the hotel does not have...

Stayed here driving from France through Spain. The traffic is heavy in the city and couldn't get to the place booked because of the one way system. Walked into this hotel and got a first class room - more expensive but worth it. Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. Nearby off street parking (pay), excellent breakfast (not...

The location of this hotel was quite good with only a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was good but and it's a big but, the bed was only a double and it was quite hard. We stayed for 5 nights and did not get a good night's sleep in that time. If they improved the beds it would make...

This hotel is in a great location, one block from the beach, 10 min walk from bus station and shops and restaurants an easy walk. The rooms are huge and very comfortable but the soundproofing isn't so good. Staff at reception are very helpful and speak good English. Overall, a comfortable stay.

One of the only places we could find available, great service from reception staff. Pretty good room but unfortunately a lot of noise from the room above, constant stomping around and furniture shifting throughout the night. Good location but an expensive town for parking.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July, 2016. Location: Excellent. Center of city. Easy walking distance to everything - promenade/Old Town/shopping/attractions. We even walked to the hotel with our large luggage. Reception: Very helpful and friendly. Easy check in and out. Rooms: Wifi is free and a good speed. Rooms are old though....very dated. Floors are very slippery. Overall,...

Room was comfortable and spacious by European standards. Staff was friendly and helpful. Air conditioned room was a welcome treat as we could sleep with the windows closed which meant quiet! Nice size bathroom with all the amenities. Had breakfast around the corner at a cafe for 17 euros instead of the hotel's more expensive breakfast. There is a very...

We arrived in San Sebastian, Donostia Spain, without reservations and started walking around asking at several hotels about availability and price. After some disappointments we spotted this hotel and they had a room available for two nights at a reasonable price. When we went up to our room we discovered we had an extra room with a single bed and...

Off a side street just a couple of blocks from the promenade, this quaint hotel is dated but really sweet. Note, you can unload your luggage in the no parking area in front. Wish I'd known that before I dragged it from the parking spot I found two blocks away. Also, there are stairs leading into the lobby with no...
