The Sant Jaume Boutique Hotel stands in the heart of the old quarter of Palma on one of the city’s oldest streets nestled between two important historic buildings: the Church of Sant Jaume and Santa Magdalena Convent. Both are examples of fifteenth-century Gothic architecture still preserved on the island. The hotel occupies a house dating from the eighteenth century. On the ground floor, you will find the reception, hallway, lobby, restaurant, cocktail lounge and spa. The hotel rooms are on the third storeys above it. The fourth floor provides a sundeck with a plunge pool, designer loungers, showers and stunning views of the old quarter and the Cathedral. From here our guests can marvel at life in Palma from up high. Hotel's Favourite
The staff at the hotel could not have been more friendly and accommodating. While relaxing on the roof terrace by the pool, we had the staff going up and down bringing us food and drink almost every half an hour. They always attended to our requests with a smile on their faces. They helped us book everything we needed and gave us fantastic advice about the surrounding area. The food was delicious, very Spanish. The location is also perfect for the shops and bars in Palma and within easy reach of the superb restaurants in Portals. And as for the beds!!! Wow. So comfortable! So much so that we wanted to be transported home in one. Would definitely recommend this hotel and personally can't wait to stay again and again!

The hotel was elegant and comfortable. The location was in a nice and quiet street. You could book the spa and have it for yourself for an hour. This was a great option for some peace and relaxation. Room maids were excellent. Breakfast costs 25 euros, this was really expensive for a basic buffet with dispenser coffee. Our room was very small and dark. The staff wasn't as helpful as we would have expected- especially for a 5 star hotel at this price point.

On the one hand, we are glad you enjoyed the hotel location and design, as well as the spa area and service provided by our hard-working housekeeping department. On the other hand, our staff's service and kindness is one of our main strengths and we are quite disappointed to hear that you felt we underperformed in this area at our the reception desk; nevertheless we will not fail to share your comments with our head of department for information and further revision. We are also sorry to read about the breakfast, as we offer a fair assortment of local and fresh products. During the low season and in order to reduce waste, we offer a reduced buffet in terms of quantity but offering the same variety. The self-service coffee machine is filled with coffee beans, which are grinded in situ by the machine. Again, we genuinely appreciate the time you took out of your day to inform us of the inadequacies you experienced during your stay and we sincerely hope that you will allow us another opportunity to demonstrate our true level of hospitality and interest in serving you properly in the future. We stayed just for 1 night, wish it was more. We were upgraded to the San Jaume Suite it was the very best room we have ever stayed in. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble even went up to the roof terrace to pick some rosemary to go with the gin n tonic we had late that night.

I wrote a review on this hotel when we first stayed here in 2019, and finished by saying that we would stay again. We have just returned from a second stay (delayed by covid) We were not disappointed infact our stay was even better than the first time. The customer service is the best I have experienced, friendly, helpful staff nothing is too much trouble. The hotel and rooms are always spotless.... Thankyou.

This was my third visit to this beautiful hotel. If you are lucky enough to stay here, you’ll experience Customer Service above and beyond anything you would reasonably expect, even before Covid. There isn’t a single member of the hotel team who could be more friendly, helpful or professional, and that’s been truly a breath of fresh air. The front desk is managed by Mariona and she is just exceptional. The bar and restaurant manager is Miguel and, again, he’s just outstanding. The breakfasts we had were lovely, bar snacks were delicious and we ate dinner once in the hotel, one of our favourite Palma meals. Thankyou so so much
