Palma is beautiful place to explore, that said you should already be aware that most places in Europe demand walking.I spend three nights at this place and I thought it was a good deal. The location is good, feel safe to walk at night. You are about 5-10minutes walk towards the old town where it is a must visit place.... More

Hotel Abelay is quite far from the city centre (~15min on foot from Placa Major), but it's less than 10min walking from Placa d'Espana and its main bus station. This makes the hotel perfect for people wishing to visit Mallorca by bus and staying in Palma. The hotel is quite old-fashion: the only light in the room was two white... More

Great hotel for the Spanish experience, very friendly people in a family run hotel, not too far from the centre, and great for getting around Palma. Rooms basic but clean also very quiet during the evening. Will stay there again for a short Palma visit very enjoyable and cheap as well, breakfast is continental because your in SPAIN don't expect... More

I think this hotel is ok. A little to far from the city, but ok. Should have been gluten free alternative food, like anywhere in Palma.. Not lot of food I could eat. there should also have been one more fridge and maybe a microwave.. We had to have our food on the room, and it got bad quickly. The... More

Hotel is not far from the centre, about 900 from the Plaza Espana. Mercadona on the next street. Room is quite small, but clean. The condinioner was right above the third bed in out tripple room, so it was not very comfortable to sleep there, on this bed. Lobby is well conditioned, the other hotel premicies are very warm. Our window... More

Very basic hotel. Located in a residential street less than 10 mns walk from Plaza Espanya (good for transport links). Not too bad to walk to centre either but there are better, closer properties. If you want a cheap hotel just to put your head down at night, then this will do the trick.

I booked this for 4 days for end of July/August 2014. The shuttle from the airport dropped me off a couple of streets away and gave me wrong directions but I eventually found it. Smallish budget hotel, about 40EU a night. Nice room decent bed and in the locale I wanted to be. I found the staff spoke understandable english,... More

Not much more to say that not already mentioned in other fellow trip advisers' comments. 20 euro taxi from airport in the middle of the night - reasonable; Walls are bit thin and you can hear noises from your neighbours and from the street - we were too tired to notice; Staff does not speak much English - but very... I stayed here once several years ago and have just stayed again, again just for one night. It's not down in the touristy but but up-town, a 210 nminute stroll from Plaza Espana and the buses/trains/metro. From thgre you can get just about anywhere, so the location is in fact very good, just without the attractive views. Receptionist very pol;ite... More
