What an absolutely gorgeous hotel! We were deeply appreciative of the superb service, the decor, the breakfast buffet, and the peace and quiet this hotel offered us. As this was our first time in Palma, we had a difficult time finding the hotel, which is in the historic district and inaccessible to cars without a permit. However, we were rescued by the wonderful Alex! She came with me to where my husband was with the car and walked us AND our luggage to the hotel. We were just overwhelmed by her kindness and the care she took! Our room was just beautiful. We had opted to have a terrace, and though it didn’t have a view, it was so pretty and made our room feel like an entire apartment. Everything in this hotel is top-notch. It is in a wonderful area, close to an underground parking lot and to restaurants, shops and pretty squares. The breakfast buffet was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food. The staff at this hotel are super friendly & helpful. Welcome drinks on arrival. Rooms are gorgeous. Lovely amenities in the room inc nespresso machine and free mini bar, slippers, robes etc. breakfast is delicious. Not much hot food choice but very nice nevertheless. Beds very comfy. Pillow menu! Just a gorgeous gorgeous hotel. Really good central location too.

Excellent hotel! Beautiful design, great rooms, great location, great breakfast and the pool area at the top of the is the finish touch. However, the main asset of this hotel is its staff. Always friendly and willing to help, no matter what you might need help with. Will definitely come back!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Palma old town - perfect position. Everything walkable. We had a couple of issues which were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Room very hot which was odd in March- sorted by the very clever Nico 😊. Hairdryer not up to scratch - bring your own if important to you! Booked room with terrace which for us was a little oppressive as on 1st floor so reduced natural light and no sun, our error. If we revisit would definitely book room without terrace on higher floor. Piped music needs a bit of attention 😳 😴. No more "negatives"! Staff are all amazing, friendly and efficient. Neda and Etian are huge assets to the hotel and kept us entertained!! Breakfast great. Decor tasteful ❤️. Bed comfortable. Bathroom well appointed. Would return in a heartbeat. …

Just had a wonderful 3 night stay in Palma at Hotel Basilica. I like to stay in small independent hotels, and chose this hotel partially because of the excellent reviews from previous guests. The hotel is well situated in the old town, with easy walking to the main tourist sites, and also to the rail station. There are plenty of small shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and the team at the hotel were great at providing recommendations and making reservations on our behalf. There are so many aspects of the stay here that I enjoyed, beginning before arrival where the Front Desk team (thank you Neda!) organised surprise cava and cake for my friend’s birthday, and then on arrival where we were welcomed with cava, juice or water whilst our check in was completed. Our room – a twin with terrace on the first floor – was welcoming, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great shower and very good memory foam mattresses make such a difference to an enjoyable stay. Breakfast each day is served buffet style with hot and cold options and a wide variety of choices, including made to order omelettes and pancakes. All was delicious. There is a small bar and bar terrace (heated when we visited) and the team were great at mixing cocktails and recommending wine to make the start or end of our evenings fun. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough – not only is it a beautifully renovated building with all modern comforts, but it has a peace and serenity which is often hard to find in the middle of a busy city. What is outstanding, and will be my abiding memory of Hotel Basilica, is the brilliant team of people throughout the hotel who smile, say hello, and help with anything you may need. From the Front Desk team, especially Neda, Javier and Alexia, to the lovely man in the restaurant who helped us each morning, to the cleaning teams who kept our room spotlessly clean and fresh, and to Abel the night porter, you could tell that they all loved their jobs and took such pride in making customers happy. I very much hope to revisit the hotel and would recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel in Palma with the best hospitality I’ve come across in years. …

Staff were amazing and very good location. The oonly complaint is that the bed is very firm/hard so we had little sleep. Overall would recommend it aside from our sleeping experience. Also need to ask why they lock the front entrance door even through the day..seems a safe area.

When we made the choice on beds we decided for these for ergonomic firm beds as they seem to be healthier for the back, however we do have soft toppers that we provide upon request. The area is safe, yet we like to provide a guest only card entrance to the hotel to make our guests feel more like at home and not have to worry when leaving their items such as phones and laptops laying around.
