We loved our stay here--for the first three nights of a recent vacation before heading north and then our last night on Good Friday. The front desk staff was fantastic--friendly, helpful, sweet, and more. It's in a great location. The restaurant was very good and the bartender, too, was fantastic! It's a beautiful place. If you happen to be here...

From the moment you enter the hotel you are warmly welcomed by an attentive and personal staff with good humour.Centrally located the hotel is situated in a classic building with enormous additional space outside your well equipped rooms. This is classy, but not snobbish. Absolutely excellent.

Third time in Palma; second time in Can Cera. This is the kind of boutique hotel you want to stay. Beautifull rooms; friendly staff; good breakfast; nice patio. A hotel with a history, with nice details, with warm paintings, with friendly people, with a central location.... We choose the suite, which was beautifull and has a history, but we prefer...

Just came back from 5 days luxury break here. Beautiful rooms and lounges, traditional mixed with modern furnishings. A small spa with hot tub, turkish and sauna. An enclosed restaurant and bar - inside the hotel and in the courtyard - though this was a bit chilly in march. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Loved it. We had room 15...

I have just gotten back from a short break (Sat to Tues) that was spent with my mum. We took advantage of the hotels private transfer, this was worth it, as we were met by a porter whilst waiting for our luggage at the airport to come through, then taken to the car where it took approx. 15 mins to...

A truly beautiful property which is augmented by highly professional staff. I should not be telling you about this hotel because there are only 14 rooms, and I don't want it to be as popular and successful as it deserves to be!

We stayed for 4 nights at Can Cera in Palama. The hotel has a brilliant location in the heart of the city but benefits from a cool and quiet setting which means sleep is easy. The room we had was wonderful, spacious, clean and well provided for and the hotel has many quite sitting areas you can use. The staff...

Superbly located in the central old town but in a quiet street with limited traffic making for a tranquillo stay! Value is good with low season discount. Beautiful bed and linens. Be careful of prices of minibar and at restaurant though

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
At over 700 years old, Can Cera has one of the longest histories in Palma. The building dates back to before 1232 when Jaume I conquered the island with Catalan and Aragonese troops. Located inside the ancient city walls close to the Cathedral, Can Cera is in the very heart of the Old City, between the Plaza de Santa Eulalia and the Plaza de San Francisco. Over the years, Can Cera’s many owners have made alterations to the original building. The most important of these were done in the 17th Century, when –as in many of the surrounding houses– Italian Renaissance architects inspired the creation of the celebrated patios, giving the houses their singularly attractive, yet austere, character. Inside, the house is significant and rich with well-proportioned rooms, high ceilings of sculptured plasterwork, balconies and above all, palatial adornments. Today, Can Cera, has been thoroughly renovated and equipped as a first class Hotel. The traditional Majorcan patio, with its majestic arches, exuberant Kentia and other lush plants, leads to the Reception area and the Can Cera Restaurant. A marble stairway leads up to a surprising space: a comfortable and welcoming Home with its original layout intact. Period furniture and contemporary paintings abound. ... more   less
