Some have called us "Spanish Spartan", or minimalist. We wanted to achieve a cool, calm and collected feel to our rooms, because we believe cool doesn't mean cold. A no-fuss, quietly stylish environment where you'll be able to unwind and make the most of your time on the island. Because we love what we do, we're always pleased to see our regulars, and look forward to meeting new guests. Welcome to the Palau Sa Font. Update 2015: It was time for a change and we completely redid the majority of our bathrooms. We opted for a updated fresh style and made sure that the new toilet flushes work smoothly :-) (we had some issues with the old ones in the past). Also, we soundproofed the rooms that were particularly exposed to noise. Come and tell us what you think!

Highly recommended hotel. Very central location in a neighborhood with a lot of atmosphere. The service at the reception and in the cafeteria-hall (specifically Elena) offers very pleasant and attentive treatment. I would highlight the rooftoop with its views of the city of Palma where the sunsets are a taste of tranquility, bohemian, happy. And having a soda tastes fresh and lemony with a little ice. Thank you, M.

The hotel is located in the Old Town of Palma in an old Palace building but very tastefully renovated. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the breakfast offers a buffe with high-quality products. While the rooms are big enough and artistically decorated, and the bath is modern, the outside-facing rooms can be a bit noisy during night with tourists roaming the streets. Ask for a room facing the courtyard!

This Hotel is well located for initial arrival from the airport bus (12 minute walk) if you feel a taxi is expensive. The staff were amazing, very polite and could not do enough for us. The continental breakfast was much the same everyday however, it has lovely food to get you ready for the days jolly. There are many great restaurants, bars and easy cycle hire on the same street and locally within a few minutes walk. One beach is a stroll along the waterfront approx 15-20 minutes with more very good restaurants. Would definitely go back.

It is a manor house renovated as a hotel, therefore, both inside and outside you can see the stone.
It is located on a narrow street quite busy with tourists and some trendy hospitality venues. However, at night it is not noisy.
The location is unbeatable.
The service and treatment have been excellent.
At breakfast you can taste typical Mallorcan foods, they offer you natural orange juice, which is appreciated, and they serve coffee. What I do want to suggest is that they have lactose-free milk and some gluten-free products.

Palau Sa Font hotel is in the heart of the historical town of Palma with all sights easily accessible on foot. The streets around the hotel are quiet as the hotel is only accessible by taxi, not private cars as the historical center has restricted access. The rooms and bathrooms are large and well appointed. There is a roof top and a small pool. The receptionists are extremely helpful and friendly and breakfast food and variety excellent, with fresh fruits and also freshly squeezed orange juice. I would definitely return i otherwise the same hotel if back in Palma. Caution: room in the "tower" under the roof top to be avoided as noise from moving furniture and conversations on roof top can be annoying at night.

The hotel is in a great location, making it convenient for exploring the area and accessing key points of interest. Its central position was one of the highlights of my stay. Additionally, the communication was easy and smooth. The staff were responsive, and it was easy to coordinate any requests or inquiries I had. Good breakfast

It was the second time we stayed at this hotel and were satisfied until we got home and discovered that we had brought uninvited guests home with bites all over our bodies. Immediately contacted the people we had booked with who spoke to the hotel who refused to agree to any compensation for the six nights we stayed there. I contacted myself via email and asked why they did not agree to any compensation, but of course received no answer. A four-star hotel should treat its guests in a completely different way than we have been treated. Can't recommend this hotel.

We had 3 nights at this cozy little hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect for a holiday in Palma and the small pool is wonderful after a hot day around the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious and inviting with many local ingredients. We will definitely be back.

This hotel is right in the heart of old town Palma and only taxis can access it which makes it fairly quiet. Itās a very sweet spot with understated elegance and the best breakfast food and variety Iāve ever experienced in a hotel. We would definitely return if we ever come back to Mallorca.

Donāt waste your money here The hotel is after nothing but your Money and They donāt care how they get it. We booked a room online for 2 adults and 1 child. They put a cot in for our son who is 2, they said this is standard for any child under 3. For him to have his own bed (a camp bed) it would be an extra ā¬50. We had just paid ā¬200 for the room. When speaking to the co owner she expianed most hotels charge for a camp bed. We had been to 4 4* previous the past week and non had. It wasnāt even questioned. And the fact that itās a camp bed for ā¬50 is pure greed!! The room is basic to the point of being a hostel room. No tea or coffee or kettle in the room. But there is a mini bar ready to charge you!!
The plus side about the hotel is the location. And that really is what you are paying for as there is nothing else.
Shop around you can do better then here!!

Dear SJS84, Thank you for taking your time to review our hotel. We appreciate and value all the opinions. We regret to see that your experience was not up to your expectations. You can find in our website all the information about our policy of the extra beds and baby cots. Also anyone who is interested can send us an enquiry at any time. We are more than happy to explain our policy for extra beds and cots and to respond to any other queries. The price of the extra bed (50ā¬/night) includes breakfast and VAT tax. And cots for babys are free. Baby cots and extra beds have to be booked on request as they are subjected to availability. When requested, we provide all the information to guests prior to the time of booking. So the charge for the extra bed is agreeded and accepted by the guests prior to arrival. Many other hotels do have the same policy than us. We are sorry that you feel this way and we hope that this incident did not stop you from enjoying your holidays. We remain with our best regards Palau Sa Font Team

I enquired at the information desk and caught the bus (can't remember the number). You need 5 euros in cash (pay on bus or there is a ticket machine which I struggled to use). I didn't change - just had a 10 min walk which was lovely. I used google maps to find my way - it was easy.

Hi, I agree with the previous answers and the food recommendation. The hotel is very quirky and situated along some narrow quaint lanes. Ideally situated for the Marina and a walk into town and the Cathedral ( and shops)The beach is a taxi ride. You will not be disappointed.
