The BQ Belvedere Hotel offers a peaceful setting that some travelers find appealing, although its remoteness from shopping and entertainment venues can be a drawback. While guests commend the hotel's cleanliness and the cleanliness and spaciousness of the pool area, opinions on the service and atmosphere vary. The staff's friendliness is often noted, yet slow service and a lack of evening activities are points of contention. Room views and sizes receive mixed reviews, but the free shuttle service is a well-regarded amenity.

What a great hotel! From check-in we had ease of service, friendly and informative staff and great amenities.
The only downside was the additional extras, Obviously we're all aware of the tourism tax, for this hotel was almost €50 a week for 2 people so make sure you've budgeted for that.
There is a payment of €19 for the safe and €20 for hire of beach towels, For a 4☆ Hotel, of which I've stayed in many over the years......This is usually included, again make sure you Budget for these extras.
The food offering has been exceptional, There hasn't been one complaint from either myself or my partner, The restaurant bar staff are really on the ball and service is usually very fast. Its a shame that the coffee machines aren't switched on at lunchtime and evening meal times though.
Our room was fairly small but had everything you need, The showers are powerful and hot.
We had a mountain view which was lovely.
The poolbar and snack bar are adequate for what you need, very well stocked and ice-creams are included on AI.
The TUI brochure said that the hotel was on a slight incline from the beach, This really is a stretch of the imagination and as a couple of 45 & 38, we felt death was imminent if we had to climb that hill more than once during our stay lol. There is a free bus service to the beach but we opted for taxis, roughly about €4 each way.
All in all, we've had an amazing time and if we're ever in mallorca again, we'll be sure to stay.

Reception efficient with check in , basic info given and requests for room location granted. I must praise reception my walking stick broke in the fight over, reception explained in full detail the exact location on a map in Palma where to get a new one. Thankyou

Large lobby with bar recently renovated so all shiney and new and exceptional guests toilets .

Rooms spotless twin beds large TV with limited UK channels balcony we requested evening west facing room and the hotel allocated a great room at the front of the building with mountain views , great bathroom and spotlessly clean, exceptionally fast WiFi .

Restaurant very large room only half being used the food was extensive again as I am celiac chef approached me every evening informing me if food options available making sure that my individual needs were met .

Pool bar alas this is where the hotel falls down one bar man for a whole hotel he never stopped from morning till night alas I think he lost his smile many months ago, We were out if season and you queued for every drink , good drinks plastic glasses . The area was clean but the poor barman in fact restaurant staff just never stopped the hotel appeared to be operating on too few staff

The hotel is newly refurbished and is exceptionally clean and refurbished to a high standard but alas the money seems to have been spent at the detriment to staff numbers .I would return but would not consider in high season

Location it's in a small resort outside Palma and Palma Nova, the bus stop to Palma us a cross the road very efficient and reliable the hotel has its own coach to Palma Nova every thirty mins in the day so is well connected .

Great flight and transfer as per normal by Jet2 and arrived at the hitel around midnight, met in a functional manner by reception and all the rooms were sorted ,asked about a drink or food and was told no food availability this late and if a drink is wanted then there are vending machines on each floor ( really disappointed with that part of our arrival ,normally go to Cyprus where a sandwich and welcoming drink is always available) .
As mentioned before the rooms are a little small but more than adequate, fridge in the room (empty) also a safe which wasn’t available other than if you pay a daily charge ,views were good as would be expected from the 8th floor ,lifts aplenty so very rarely had to wait a long time ,towels and rooms cleaned daily and cleaners were all pleasant and a credit to the hotel
Food was buffet style and in fairness was of good quality and would have been difficult to fault it ,having to pay for a drink at evening meal was a little annoying and would think the budget would stretch to a free drink with your meal as at breakfast ,the coffee machines are turned off for evening meals
Pool areas were good and didn’t struggle for a sunbed ,this may have been in part due to the mild weather which was ok but the sun didn’t really show its face much over the 7 days ,the pools were freezing because of the lack of sun ,would have thought the kids pool could have been heated a little
Location is a little out of the way but walkable down to Cal Mayor via a steep hill so easy down but hard work back in particular whilst pushing my grandson in his pushchair, regular shuttle bus down into Palma nova which we used most days ,this was free so was a bonus and reasonably regular .
Again as per arrival our leaving was easily done ,no room service or charge to room allowed so no extra costs ,we were booked on half board so would have liked the option to swap evening meal for lunch ,this was not possible so if you wanted lunch you had to pay 20 euros ,looking at the choice I decided against it ,again transfers and flights back to Leeds and Bradford went without a hitch via jet2 ,
Would go again just would hope for hotter weather

This is a lovely, newly refurbished hotel. It was fairly quiet when we went (beginning of September), so not too many children, not sure what holiday time would be like. It was very family friendly with a small pool and a playhouse attended by the Animation Team. Daily exercise in pool for those willing and able. The location is a little out of the way, but a nice walk downhill to the nearby small town of Sant Agustin with a marina/harbour and smallish beach (Cala Major). We walked down but recommend a bus or taxi back, especially if it is very hot.
The hotel rooms are comfortable (we had a twin double bedroom) with a walk-in shower which has also been refurbished. The room is cleaned daily and the sheets are changed, also towels changed daily at the moment (due to Covid?). Currently face masks are worn indoors. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
The food has a lovely selection for each meal and some things you can see being freshly made, e.g. paella, pancakes. There is a bar to obtain all drinks you need.
The only downside is that there is no pool bar at the moment as it had burnt down a couple of weeks before we arrived, so all drinks are only available at the indoor bar. I am sure that they will remedy this before the next season as their season ends at the end of September.
There is evening entertainment (family friendly) and a regular free coach can take you to Palma Nova during the day, if you wish.
Would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice, peaceful holiday with no noisy nightlife.

We stayed for a week in September on all inclusive via Jet2. First impressions of the hotel are that it has has a recent quality renovation, the place is spotless and this continues through the whole hotel and the grounds. Our room was on the 1st floor looking out to the hills, this was small but did have a double bed as requested. There was a fridge and air conditioning, the bathroom had a big walk in rainfall shower and plenty of hot water! I would have preferred a kettle to make drinks when we were relaxing in our room as there is only tea/coffee at breakfast or from the bar in plastic cups. We rented a safe it was €29 but we did get €10 deposit back.
The food at the hotel for all meals was excellent, catering for everyone. The variety of food was great, fish, meat, vegetarian, pizza, chips, salads and vegetables. We were very impressed and loved eating in the restaurant for every meal. We don’t normally bother with desserts as they don’t taste of anything, oh how wrong, you must try the desserts so tasty. I think this was where my extra pounds came from 😉. Drinks over lunch or dinner was waiter/ess service to your table which was a nice touch, only wine or soft drinks, no spirits. No tea/coffee at lunch or dinner.
Drinks around the pool are from one of the 2 bars, one opens at 10am the other at 12pm. This is my biggest gripe of the holiday. Each bar only had one person serving most of the time, occasionally a 2nd person would be added to the main bar late afternoon/evening, the queue was ridiculous and I did count 20 queuing on one occasion. There is a good variety of drinks on offer, usual all inclusive, not overly strong. Premixed cocktails, not my thing but they seemed popular. There is a snack bar at the pool, but we didn’t use it preferring to use the restaurant.
There is an inside bar in the evening, we went once, there is no atmosphere, music and the chairs feel like you are sitting outside the headmasters office. A very soulless place, a drink took 45 minutes from ordering to arriving.
Plenty of sun beds, don’t bother trying to put a towel out before 8.30am as the pool cleaning team are out hosing down round the pool with a fireman’s hose and they sprinkler over the sun beds. You can rent a pool towel for €2 per day and a €10 deposit, we took our own as I didn’t want to pay €28!
The entertainment team try hard to include people and happy to stop for a chat. Water aerobics was ver popular!
The waiting staff, reception, bar staff work very hard and seem to have several jobs. Very few have a smile, Sebastian seemed to be the only one who consistently spoke and seemed cheery.
The above points did not spoil our holiday, I am mentioning them as these could be problems if not addressed by the hotel. I did make the hotel aware of my observations good and bad.
All in all we had a very relaxing week which is what we went for, the food really was the highlight of our holiday.

Visited here only a day after it reopened with my partner and absolutely loved our 2 week visit. The bar was fantastic with a wide range of drinks available and sangria on tap 🤤. I have read a few complaints regarding only 1 pool bar being open. At times there may have been a queue but this lasted no longer than 10 minutes and only happened a few times throughout the day. I think this could be down to staffing issues since they had only reopened.

The food was lovely. There was a wide selection available each night with staple food such as pizza and chips offered at lunch and dinner. The only issue was the lack of cold meat available at lunch time. Some ham, plain chicken or tuna would’ve been nice to supplement a salad.

The pool snack bar was absolutely delicious and I’d 100% recommend the kebab and the nuggets. The snack bar could be improved by a ticketing service or something of that sort as often food was being taken when others had ordered it.

The hotel itself was immaculate. The pool was great, it’s really big and clean however very deep. There is a shallow section though this is a small part of the pool. There is a jacuzzi at the top of the pool which is also great.

The surrounding area is on the quieter end. A 10 minute walk there is a range of bars, cafes and restaurants though these seem to be for locals. The hotel has such a good atmosphere and entertainment every night you wouldn’t really have to leave - especially families given the entertainment available. However, if you do want to venture out you can take advantage of the free shuttle bus to Palma Nova which is only 10 minutes by car. Magaluf is only 10 minutes away by car also.

Jet2 advertised this hotel as 3 star and the hotel itself advertises 4 star. Not sure which it is but I’d certainly side with 4 star.

I’ve mentioned little problems but really don’t feel like I could knock the rating down since they are so minor.

Pros
* Clean modern rooms with good water pressure
* Short journey from the airport
* Free shuttle bus to the beach town Palmanova
* Easy to travel to Palma by public transport €2 each
* great beach in walking distance
* Weather was perfect
* Good size pool with showers and sun beds
* The kitchen tries to offer a different selection of food daily
* Working air conditioning in the room

Cons
* All inclusive isn’t truly all inclusive. Outdoor snack bar cost, and most alcohol costs extra
* Only one restaurant
* No table service by the pool
* 20-30 min queues for drinks day and night
* The wine, sangria and cocktails are from tap and watered down, the only drink with alcohol is the local vodka
* Uncooked limited selection of meat at lunch and dinner. In general basic fatty foods without flavour because the food is cooked from frozen.
* The rooms are a little small
* No drinking water in rooms and you’ll need to queue for water as there is no self service water, the fact that they sell water in the gift shop, €2 euros per bottle is a sign there isn’t enough easy to access to water

We booked this hotel aware of covid restrictions and excited about our 4 star experience. I’ll
Share everything we thought about our visit here and hopefully it’ll inform others.

We stayed for 3 nights on a short getaway all inclusive. First impressions were great the place was clean tidy and everyone was adhering to covid measures including mask wearing when in the hotel - unless in your room.

The rooms are basic for a 4 star and there are no tea or coffee making facilities, 1 channel on the TV in Spanish and the bathroom is clean and spacious with a hairdryer provided. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. If you want to use the safe it’s €10 deposit and hire of beach towels are at cost. But overall a very basic clean box type room.

Meal time. This and the lack of bar service is the reason I’ve given 3 stars. The choice at meal times is limited and quite repetitive and lacks flavour. We ended up eating at a local pizza house and a stake house (monkey stakehouse highly recommend!). Was worth the cost and walk down the hill to taste local food.

There is only 1 bar open just now I assume due to covid and at times we waited 25 minutes to be served especially in the evening. Almost makes all inclusive not worth it. But with the majority of drinks being free you can’t grumble.

The pool is spacious, clean and has enough sun beds, during this covid time. The hotel also offers a covid testing facility. Taxi to the airport was €30 and into Palma was €12. We did this as the free shuttle bus didn’t show up.

So overall, solid 3 star, but compared to what we saw elsewhere in palma it’s a good location, with some hidden food gems in the town and a beautiful beach 800m away down some stairs. If you’re not accustomed to 4 & 5 star hotels this will be just fine.

We stayed here for our family holiday this summer. The hotel has recently had a full refurbishment so everything is very modern and contemporary.
The pool area is large with plenty of sunbeds around. Little children’s pool too.
The food in the restaurant was great and very varied. We had different options each day. Plenty of snacks between meals too. Disposable gloves available to use the tongs of the buffet during covid.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff work amazingly hard constantly disinfecting areas. Was very impressed and felt very safe the whole time.
There is a small town and beach that’s about a 15 minute walk from the hotel but down lots of stairs!! But the hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle bus to Palma Nova beach and Marineland which was great. Also a very short transfer from the airport (about 15 Mins) which was ideal with a 1 year old!
Great animation team who work so hard and evening shows too!
We found occasionally some of the staff came across as a bit rude. However we would still rebook this hotel again and would definitely recommend. A great value all inclusive break!

Hotel chosen for its proximity to the airport ( 20 min transfer and first off 👏) and especially to Palma for shopping . There is bus stop only three minute walk from the hotel . Number 46 is a reliable half hourly service for the quick ride right into the heart of that gorgeous city.
My thanks to the entire, ever helpful , professional reception staff 👏
We had a lovely pool/sea view en-suite room with large , furnished balcony , impressive wardrobe space and lovely large shower room .
The pool area is amazing with its plentiful, high end sun loungers, shaded grassy areas, lovely planting, pool bar , kiddies pool area and play facilities and it’s enegetic, smiling entrainment staff 👏 Gardens and pool area immaculately maintained daily. Availability of pool towels is a huge bonus .
The entire hotel is spotless with four elevators from the foyer and well equipped basement luggage room(great showers and luggage scale — an absolute must for ladies who have shopped in glorious Palma 💕
The main “restaurant” offering was fresh and plentiful though poorly signed and without a specific vegetarian/vegan offering. Really!? In this day and age? Many thanks to Chef Siad for his smiling effort to help us 👏
The pool snack bar serves lovely fresh salads , gorgeous wraps, skinny fries, ice cream , drinks etc.
In both main floor and lower floor bars the drinks are branded though limited in choice and no liquor coffees 😔
The hotel offers a very useful , FREE , half hourly shuttle bus service into Palma Nova.
My grandaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel . We would gladly return here and recommend it.
