Stayed here for two nights recently on a trip to Tenerife. Lovely ferry ride over to an island which we had never visited before and to a Parador in a fabulous setting with fantastic views out to sea.Not for everyone as it was quiet and very much of a certain age group but maybe that changes in high season. It...

I reviewed this hotel last year and gave it four stars then. Pity to go down to three for a hotel in such a great position but, as with the Parador on ElHierro where we stayed last year, money needs to be spent on refreshing the bathrooms. It's an old style hotel with a quiet atmosphere, attractive gardens and views...

A weeks stay in this lovely building was a real tonic! In a way it's the incidentals that are most impressive; splendid gardens with fantastic views (including Mt Teide on Tenerife!) Then there are some excellent features such as the courtyard (where you can get a wi fi connection), the various sitting rooms and reading areas (plenty of books in...

We spent Christmas on this peaceful, unspoilt island and enjoyed our stay at this charming and quiet parador. The restaurant food was absolutely superb, but I'm glad we hadn't booked full board as we couldn't have eaten the quantities each night. There was a good choice of bar snacks and some good food in the town. The service was first...

Spectacular clifftop location with beautiful gardens and great views. The building is modern but in traditional style, with spacious rooms and elegant lounges. The restaurant food is good but not great value, similarly the breakfasts, but there is a bar where you can get more modest food. San Sebastian is a good base with bus access to most of the...

A lovely, quiet place to stay. Friendly staff who are very helpful. The setting is stunning, at the top of cliffs overlooking the port. The hotel grounds are more like a botanical garden with splendid trees and shrubs. We only ate in the restaurant once and it was excellent, not cheap but for food of this quality good value. The walk to...

Stayed here in November in need of a relaxing holiday and found the perfect destination.Staff pleasant and helpful, not a lot of English which helped us to use our limited Spanish !! Very private hotel with loads of secluded spots to lose yourself. The pool was fabulous ,the food was of a very high standard and the room was spacious and...

This parador is located on top of the cliffs overlooking the port with good views of inland La Gomera. It has incredible, tranquil gardens full of trees and plants with lots of nooks and crannies to explore and sit in. We had a room on the ground floor at the end of a wing of the building. It was spacious...

We stayed here for four nights and the parador and its location are outstanding. We had a beautiful room with a terrace that overlooked the sea. Everything was clean and immaculately maintained. On the down side we arrived on our first night in the bar to have a pre dinner drink, there was no staff there but a bell to...

Not easy to find. Better directions to Beachy Head if contemplating suicide! Warm welcome and very pleasent rooms with terrace and views out to sea. Delightful building with many nooks and crannies to sit and ponder. Bar a bit cramped but lovely room adjacent for pre dinner drinks etc. Really good quality restaurant. Excellent food and service. I would say...
