Spent a week here in late Jan/early Feb and had a quiet and restful time. The staff were extremely helpful, the food varied and well presented, the rooms comfortable and the bars were great fun. Evening entertainment was almost non-existent. The location on the esplanade was invaluable in that we were not fans of the city of Las Palmas and...

Our last night of a 10-night Gran Canaria trip we stayed at the Reina Isabel hotel. We arrived by taxi and were immediately check in to a room on one of the higher floors by a friendly staff member. We had a city view room that featured a small balcony, a comfortable bed, flatscreen tv and the usual amenities. A...

We stayed mid March 2017. The first impression was very good with helpful, friendly staff at a reception desk set in a lovely lobby. The room was good with a little balcony looking out over the car park (we didn't pay extra for the sea view). I was slightly worried about noise, but with the doors shut no problems at...

One of the best hotel I have visited during last 10 years.Sea view rooms deserve the difference of price, very good food ,it is first time when I saw in 4 star hotel Champagne and vodka or gin at breakfast together with free fresh orange juice. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Our only complaint is the limited hours of the spa and pool. The pool closed at 1800 and it would have been nice to be able to go for a night swim.

Our second visit. We didnt get what we payed for. An autocratic senior receptionist, runs her own tight ship. Conveying to junior staff, where guests will be located. Room clean, modern, cheerless. Sea view, was just visible. through an array of chrome steel railings. Breakfast, a highlight first time. Not as good. Disappointed, very expensive, lots of alternative hotels.

The hotel is situated at the beach. It has a very nice pool on the roof, and an excellent fitness room. The SPA - which is for free - is very good. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast, the Wi-fi Works all the time. Irritating: one has to pay for the safe, and there is no water kettle in the room.

We thought we'd secure the perfect holiday by booking at Las Palmas number 1 hotel (at least according to Tripadvisor), but unfortunately we didn't get it. There are a lot of plus points here of course: The location is fabulous if you're here for the Canteras experience, free parking was good service, the gym and pool at the top of...
