Perfect for business trip. Rooms are good with enough space. Cleand and nice. Also the food is perfect at the restaurant. You can take a complete menu with dessert only with 22euros. Service is top. I recommand.

Booked this hotel last minute. The hotel is a bit out of the way in El Sardinero. Set back up a hill it is a few minutes from the bus stop. The lobby is nice, staff friendly. The room we had was massive but extremely dated. We had a sitting room, bedroom and bathroom with a balcony. The walls were all painted pink.. The balcony overload a school or sports complex and was grey and uninviting. The real surprise was the bar downstairs decorated in safari pictures. It has an elephant head and is quite surreal. The hotel is ok but very dated. It needs to be brought into the present by a bit of money spent on decor. It has potential but needs some money spent on it.

We booked via booking.com. the room was massive with the children on a sofa bed that turned into 2 singles whilst we had a Jacuzzi in our room.. the view though was the back of a leisure centre plus the price was over 300 pounds a night. The lounge was dominated by a huge real stuffed elephants head and various other animal heads also a leapord skin with head on the far wall.. we didn't stay and eat. Apparently the hotel is where bull fighters stay when visiting santander.. it was clean although rooms smelt a little but if you like animals be warned!

Currently staying at the property, we booked a four star property with outdoor pool. The pool is next door, a local Council pool TV has no English language channels Balcony has no furniture at all Room safe is old and without instructions, impossible to figure out The biggest surprise of all, a property advertised as an Apartotel has not kitchen, no kettle, no iron nor ironing board (not a problem really as there is no laundry) All in all the property is very very tired, not very clean, it has a very slow antique lift that will take your arm of if you are not quick enough to enter. Four Stars, not in my universe! Robert Keown Australia

A decent hotel not far from the beach, but to get to the centre, one needs some form of transportation or a taxi. Beautiful walks nearby. The room could use a bit updating. The floor could be cleaner. I guess the large space makes it difficult to sweep or vacuum on a regular basis.
