The room was cold and had no heating, except for the bathroom, where it was not required. The bathroom was disgusting. It had a rusty radiator, and black mould around the bath, broken tiles, and crumbling plaster and grouting. Scary pictures of witches, trolls, and goblins on the walls. No bar or restaurant. The guy on the desk let the...

I just book a late room and I found the hotel very basic, outdated and not great facilities. The room was quiet but it is very small and the pillow and the bed was quite uncomfortable so I did not have a great night sleep. The price was decent, not good location to the town center but close to the...

Booked this hotel online, took a bit of chance. It was clean and the cafe next door was the nearest source for breakfast as the hotel doesn't have that facility. The hotel was very close to the ferry port, staff were friendly. Parking was a public car park with which the hotel had a discounted rate. Hotel was also close...

The hotel is close to downtown and the barrio pescadero, in a working class area a little ways from the beach (15 - 20 minute walk). It was easy to catch a bus to go down to the beach, the lighthouse, and other parts of the city. Although it's a few blocks from the train and bus station, the neighborhood...

I stayed for one night and had a room at the back. Not a great view, not a problem, but quiet as away from the road. Clean and comfortable room and a nice lady with some english on reception. Very close to train, bus station and ferry port. Would stay again. For 35 euros good value for Santander, Didn't have...

Firstly don't confuse this with hostal San glorio on the next street! Basic hotel, clean but dated, no ac and noisy to have the window open at night. Wifi didn't work in our room, staff seem very busy. Location not the best for newcomers to santander but close enough to public transport, i don't think I could convince my partner...

This is a reasonably priced and well located hotel, close to both the ferry port and the main train station. But that's where the good points end. The reception staff member we dealt with spoke no English (OK, you have to expect to encounter that sometimes, even in hotels), but was also sour and unhelpful while my travel companion was...

Hotel San Glorio is a clean, and well ran 2* hotel. In terms of value it is a little bit expensive compared to 4*'s we stayed in earlier on our trip in Bilbao. We paid €80/room. The rooms are a bit dated but spacious & clean, and there was free wifi which was also a bonus. The breakfast is served...

I liked the hotel first of all becuse it is very clean indeed , the rooms are cleaned everyday, and the laundry changed also every day, the desk assistants are all very nice, it is nice atmosphere, of course it is not a 5 star hotel, and doesn't include all the comfort, but if you want to have a cheap...
