Hotel Beatriz Toledo Auditorium & Spa offers a stay that garners mixed reviews. While guests commend the friendly staff and enjoy the spaciousness of both the rooms and the renovated common areas, they often find the hotel's atmosphere and decor outdated.
The spacious rooms boast great views, yet the dated design and maintenance issues are a letdown for many travelers, who also feel the hotel doesn't fully deliver on its four-star promise, particularly when considering the cost. Despite this, amenities like the pool, spa, and breakfast are popular among visitors, even though some services require updating or enhancement.

We have been in the hotel for 2 nights. The cleaning of the room is very fair, there was dirt on the balcony from several weeks, the sink was fine. The decoration of the room is very old, the floor with parquet, the floor of the sink is a little dizzy due to the type of design it has. There is very little light in the room. Quite comfortable beds. You don't hear any noise. The decoration of the hotel is also quite old. The pool is fine. The floor of the hammock at the pool burns a lot (they should consider changing it) at the pool there is a bar but it is only open on the weekend if you want something you have to go inside the hotel to the cafeteria.

We have spent two days, December 30 and 31, 2024 in this hotel. It has many positive aspects: spacious rooms with spacious bathrooms and fantastic views of the city, renovated common areas with huge glass windows to the pool and gardens that allow you to walk enjoying the atmosphere. Pretty full breakfast buffet, you can order a French omelet and they bring it special for you with a big smile....That leads me to highlight the professionalism of the people who work there in all sectors, friendly attentive and efficient at all times. The year-end gala dinner, despite the number of diners, was delicious and hearty, all on point. The Spa is spacious, with different areas and well served. In short, a hotel located 10 minutes walk from Toledo, comfortable and highly recommended.

My experience at the Beatriz Toledo Auditorium & Spa was again good. Although located 10/15 minutes by car from the center of Toledo, the decision not to be in the center was not a drawback, as the hotel offers a full range of amenities. The availability of parking, a restaurant/bar and a spa, although we did not use it on this occasion, add significant value to the stay.
The comfort and spaciousness of the facilities, combined with the proximity to Toledo, make this hotel my preferred choice when visiting the city. I will definitely consider returning during future stays in Toledo.

My husband chose this hotel for the good memory of his stay years ago when he gave training courses there, but our recent family experience was very disappointing. From care at reception by the two employees. The gray-haired one spoke to us in a monotonous and unkind tone (we could see that it was not the same with other customers) and the worst part was that he did not give us the card to be able to use the safe while, when we went to order it and after half an hour of queuing, the other employee, instead of apologizing for the failure, claimed that they had not given us the card to activate it because they did not know that we would use it, which is absurd since it is more room service at no extra cost. Thanks to having to go through reception twice and above for nothing since the safe was not even working well, we arrived at the restaurant before 15:50 where we were told that the buffet closed in 10 minutes (hours were not in sight). For a buffet of 23 euros per person, they were so kind in a whole a 4-star hotel, to allow us to catch the food in 10 minutes since at 16:00 sharp, regardless of whether we had just arrived, they would withdraw it. We ended up looking for a place to eat outside the hotel, in the middle of almost 40 degrees heat, with our son and the laptop that we could not keep in the hotel safe. In view of this wonderful start we decided neither to try the spa nor to dine at the hotel. The only thing really nice is the views of Toledo.
The next day, we decided not to shower there, as the bathroom in room 222 is not in good condition: the bathtub is old (there is no shower tray) and the ceiling above it has the paint chipped, about to fall. What was once a beautiful hotel is now in urgent need of renovations and better service to all guests and not just those who like them. We're not coming back.

I'll start by saying that it is one of those renowned hotels that believe they have everything done, we paid €1,024 for four rooms for one night, that is, more than €250 per room per night on an accommodation-only basis (which is already good). . I travel with a 10-year-old child, and the first thing I find is that there are no extra beds, "the child has to sleep in the bed with you", come on, okay... We arrive and there are two towels and two pillows, in addition to sleeping with us he has to use our towel... We continue, in the amenities place, two gel and shampoo dispensers and a little sign saying that if I need something to ask the reception, coincidentally I forgot a comb, I try to call I go to reception and a mailbox goes up, in the end I call with my mobile externally, and they tell me that it's okay, but that I should go down for it, that it's okay to be in my pajamas, but that they don't upload anything. When I go to get into bed I look for a place to plug in the phone charger, and surprise, either you have the bedside lamp on or you charge your phone, not both, there is only one plug on each side of the bed. The next morning after finding a red stain on the front of the marble sink, which I didn't know if it was blood, lipstick or ketchup, we left the room, and of course, I will stay in Toledo again, but not here... I have to say that the mattress was the best, very firm and comfortable, but I insist, for 250 euros a night I think they should have a little more than that.

Immediately after more than 10 min wait we were attended by an elderly gentleman (he had no nameplate and left an office, we understand he was responsible) super unsympathetic that does not explain ANYTHING.
Only the common spaces on the ground floor are renovated. The floors of the rooms are very old with carpet that stinks, the smell is very intense. We had to ask for a change of room because the room initially allocated flooded when you showered, the water came out of the sump and smelled like a sewer. The guy from the counter of the super friendly night shift, made the change of room attended us super well (the only one in the whole hotel). The buffet food good but little variety to be a 4* and take a long time to replenish food. In the rooms there are no plugs or furniture on the balcony, the balcony is transparent glass with 0 privacy. Air conditioning without thermostat, only on-off . When you leave they only worry if you have consumed something from the minibar, nor ask if you have been at ease. Not recommended.

We booked for one night only. Double room. When we arrived we found that it has only three plugs and none of them next to the bed. One facing the bed next to the fridge, one at the entrance to the room and one in the bathroom. I need a plug next to the bed and what I was offered was an extension that crossed the entire room wide. One of the master beds had a broken leg and moved a lot. Entrance hall to the room with carpet in which there were cracks and very old although clean. In the bathroom shampoo and shower gel dispensers. By the way the toilet was loose. They've been stuck in the 80s

The reception was very nice, our surprise was when we got to the room, it smelled of stale tobacco, the curtains were beige and orange, or so we sensed given that they had a layer of dark grime as if they had been stored in a garage in Parla , also in the entire room (which was supposedly "superior") a carpet that had been there since Franco was a cornet with holes from burns and with the same dirt as the curtains, the wallpaper walls exactly the same as the ones we removed 20 years ago years of the house that we inherited from my grandmother (it was detached and broken in several places) I attach photos of all of it. Later we went down to dinner at the restaurant, which had not updated the orange and pink decoration, the subway greets us, with a dress according to the age of the decoration and tells us that we have to wait 30 minutes since they are saturated (the dining room was 1/3 full). We sit and wait... they bring us the menu (also attached photo) First appetizers and beef stew and second pork tenderloin and grilled salmon. We ordered entremierders and they brought us a plate with ham and 3 pieces of soft cheese (remember that we are in La Mancha, a land where the best cheeses in the world are made) this one was not even from a rancher, two slices of chorizo that were transparent ( The chorizo wasn't bad at all). For the second we ordered the sirloin with pepper, dry and reheated, we had to ask for 2 bottles of water to finish it. For dessert there was industrial pastry (from the house) and contesa-style ice cream. Everything is fine if they charge you 10 euros for the menu, but its price was.... 22 EURACOS!!! We will never return since the hotel is also far from everything interesting in the city of Toledo, which means you have to take a car or a taxi if you want to visit Toledo, from the hotel you can only see one road, it doesn't even have good views. In short... if you want to visit Toledo, don't go to this hotel, it feeds on clueless tourists who don't know the area and mislead them with the photos they put on Booking

The rooms are quite old and somewhat dark but clean. Very poor soundproofing. Despite having made the reservation more than a month and a half in advance by telephone and offering us two triple rooms nearby because we had to redistribute one of the children with his grandparents (since there were no quadruple rooms and we were traveling with children) we They have put in two rooms but at each end of the first floor. From reception they inform us that there is no possibility of changes despite having booked more than a month and a half ago. I don't find anything serious or ethical on the part of the reservation staff. We do not recommend it to come with children.

On the positive side, the rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms - could do with an update, but bigger than average; Housekeeping was efficient. However, with almost 300 rooms,be aware that this hotel caters for tourist parties/conferences/events with all that that implies i.e. 2 sittings for breakfast. There was a huge choice for the buffet breakfast, but not a place for a romantic breakfast, or indeed dinner, as the noise level in the cafeteria is very loud; I hesitate to call it a restaurent as there is another in the complex which we didn't try. The hotel is also about 2kms from the historical centre of Toledo, which could be one of the reasons for your visit. Apparently it is possible to walk there (uphill after a flat approach, and in the heat?), but it is difficult to navigate and the receptionists weren't able to be much help. As a consequence in order to visit you need to take a taxi (approximately 10 euros each way) which adds to the cost. And if you don't wish to eat at the hotel you also need to book a taxi. In this respect, the receptionists were very helpful. If your reason for visiting Toledo is for a conference, then this could be for you, otherwise as a simple tourist, I would look elsewhere in town.
