This was definitely my favorite stay of anywhere I visited in Spain. I arrived here at the end of an eight-month journey through 30 countries, and merely walking through the door it was immediately clear this is a special property. The front desk staff are...More
We stayed here for only one night. I booked it due to the "Marriott" and "AC" name as well as the price. It is not inside the may Toledo Circle but it is not far away. A taxi from the RENFE Station to the Hotel...More
Most unexpected most AC hotels are a bit like a Travel Lodge. This one is very different overlooking Toledo and offering great accommodation at a very reasonable price, the food in the lounge was superb, we can highly recommend the local ham on tomato toast...More
This hotel grew on us.
We had a very good room with a king bed, and a small balcony and city view. It had a small fridge that was big enough to store one's on drinks. Housekeeping was very good. One down side to the...More

You can walk into the walled city if you enjoy walking and don't have difficulty with walking. We didn't do it because we were with my 75-year-old father who has some difficulty walking. Also, we did a lot of walking generally and the streets within the walled city are hilly and made of cobblestones so when it was time to go back to the hotel I was ready for a bus or taxi ride.
We took a taxi to the Toledo train station to catch a train into Madrid. It was approximately a 30-minute train ride to Madrid. Our son purchased the train tickets for us in advance. There is a small surcharge on the taxi fare when taking it to or from a train station or airport.
