Hotel Pintor El Greco garners attention for its central location, widely celebrated for its proximity to key attractions in the city's heart. Many guests commend the hotel for its quaint charm and cleanliness, noting the attractive entrance and tastefully decorated common areas. While opinions on the rooms vary, with some travelers finding them clean and well-equipped, others express dissatisfaction with the size, lighting, and dated decor. The hotel's cleanliness is consistently praised, yet some reviewers feel the value proposition is lacking, pointing to overpriced services and facilities that fall short of expectations. Despite the friendly and helpful staff, there are suggestions that service could be enhanced.

The hotel was in the best location, we easily walked to everything in the area with amazing views all around. The room had everything we needed including a stocked fridge to purchase items and 3 bottles of water were provided. We stayed in the room in the atrium which had beautiful plants even in the winter.

Pros: well-situated for seeing the sights. Parking garage so there is somewhere off road to leave the car if you are driving. Very friendly staff. Lovely decoration. Great cocktail bar with properly made gin and tonics.
Cons: beware, at least one of the rooms (208) has a window that is so high up you cannot see out at all and so dark you have to have ALL the lights on every minute you are in the room. It is like being in a luxury jail cell and 4* prices are a lot to pay for being in a jail cell.
The bathroom was large and clean but the shower, although powerful, was a small head and so hard to adjust that I had to stand with my nose against the wall to get wet. Even my OH, an engineer, said you needed a degree to work out how to use it!
I don't recommend the hotel restaurant, the food was very overpriced and the coteletta Milanese was actually a schnitzel and not a very good one, served with a handful of greenery (and some tomatoes if desired), potatoes extra! The risotto was average. We were not offered any oil, seasoning or even a bit of extra cheese for the risotto (and given that the restaurant was empty when we arrived it wasn't because the staff were too busy to check on us).

Ideally located in the center of Toledo's old town, next to Casa d'El Greco, this boutique hotel is perfect for discovering the city. Impeccable and smiling service, welcoming and spacious rooms, generous breakfast. Cocktail bar in patio. Private parking a little expensive (27€ per night) but very useful in this area of the city. We highly recommend this establishment!

We spent the night in Toledo to continue our work trip. We chose the cave, we like to rest well since we had been driving for 9 hours. When we arrived: the staff was smoking at the door of the hotel, and the guy who was there told us, “wait, I'm on my break”, okay, I don't mind waiting for you but I'm very tired from 10 hours of travel…. I was talking to a colleague from the same workplace, with several complaints that I think the hotel should resolve. This, upon arrival, already gave us a rather uncomfortable impression and it is a bit annoying for us to have to wait on the reception. When we came to the room: big, clean, cool room… but! There was not enough soap or a complete replacement of towels (only bathrobes). The window in the jacuzzi room was wide open, and it was very cold. The room was perfect at night but from 7:30 in the morning the noise is quite loud. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant that was recommended to us, DON'T GO, that is the worst experience of the entire trip, as soon as we sat down they told us there are 10 minutes left until the kitchen closes, you have to order now, and in 25 minutes we close... . I think we have had a bit of bad luck with the general staff, and we, although we travel for work, we like humanized and well-organized things. This is the first time we give an opinion but because of our work, we travel a lot and we know many hotels, unfortunately this one is not up to its price.

They gave us a room that would be a 2 star with a noisy cistern, 2 plugs in the entire room. We asked for a change and they gave us a superior one for €10 more per night. The shower head goes down approximately 1.70, the window shutters are impossible to reach, we had to ask someone to close them. No bidet towels, but they left one in the sink for 2 days. The last day without a towel or bidet or to get out of the shower. The window, at ground level, overlooked a terrace. At 2 in the morning they picked up the metal chairs (noise). They didn't complete what they left in the sink, swabs... The lighting in the sink was poor. You had to shave by ear, the closet is a toy and the doors don't close properly with hanging clothes because it's too narrow. We also had a teenage school trip.
To compensate us, they have deducted 6 euros from the parking, which costs €27 per day. At checkout they offered us 20% for the next time we go. I mean, they put you in a crappy room that doesn't correspond to a 4 star, and I'm going to come back??? I'm not going back to that hotel.
Of course, the entire team of workers is charming, the problem is the building and the equipment, and that they want to charge you for a room that does not correspond to 4 stars for a four-star one. That doesn't seem too fair to me.
The photos on the website include a photo of the headboard and a chair with a table. Never from the entire room 14. Possibly because it doesn't even come out with a wide angle.
I add a floor plan where you can see what the room was like.
Sercohotel should review it.

What a lovely hotel! In a quiet spot of Toledo, across from a park with great views, the hotel is beautifully appointed. Our room was quite large, with a couch and seating area, a balcony overlooking the tiled roofs, a clean bathroom with moorish tiles, great shower. We even got a complimentary bottle of wine. The staff are very congenial, whether bilingual or not. The front desk was helpful when our electronic keys were not working. The breakfast buffet is complete with everything you would want, and they also make eggs to order, which were delicious. Everything good here.

Highly recommended hotel,
I felt very welcome.
Because of a cervical problem I was provided with different types of pillows.
The treatment with the reception was fantastic especially highlight to Rocio:
Thank you Rocio for your humane and professional treatment!
Breakfast a treat with Sergio, the cook:
Sergio seeks your well-being and offers you a variety of healthy products, especially when I suffer food bans due to certain allergies.

The hotel has an excellent location in the Jewish quarter, and this is where its positive aspects end. Being generous, the hotel has a couple of stars to spare. It cannot be justified that they are only economical rooms, a truly 4-star hotel cannot have standard rooms in those conditions. The abandoned light gray walls painted as if with a brush, the worn floor, the curtains from the 60s, the air conditioning only has one position, the other two do not work, the furniture is deteriorated. We must not confuse the rustic with the abandoned to continuous deterioration. Nor can it be argued that in Toledo it is what it is, it is mediocre to offer such a justification and a lack of respect for tourists.
The garage deserves special mention, a complete disaster, but it is already known that it is impossible to park in the area, however the worst thing is that the garage is absolutely inconvenient, located on the other side of the street, it is full of columns In the middle of everything, there are spaces for cars from the 70s, like the one next to you that doesn't center it completely, you enter on the passenger side, there is no intercom to open the door for you at the entrance, you have to get out of the car to go to reception, wait and for them to open it for you, to take it out the same but asking for three keys to be able to enter the garage and take out the car.
In short, the worst 4-star hotel I have ever stayed in, the value for money is terrible, there are many better options.

Wanting to discover Toledo we spent 2 nights in this lovely hotel. We in the family are 3 , 2 adults and our 11-year-old. Not having triple rooms we were assigned 2 neighboring rooms, both quite basic in decor but tasteful and in line with the style of the hotel. Two positive things should be noted: impeccable cleanliness and the massage hydromassage bath.
The staff is very friendly, the location great. Given the difficulty in parking in the city we opted for the hotel’s private parking. Very positive experience, recommend it

Hotel with a very good location, cleanliness and decoration. Laura's attention was exceptional. The quality-price ratio is good and if there is something I would have to point out, it is to improve or implement room service or a restaurant service available at any time.

Is there secure car parking at the hotel?
Toledo, Spain32 contributions
Our parking is located just in front of the Hotel entrance and can be reserved for 23€ per night. It is very convenient for our guests as you can let the car in and then just go walking from the Hotel to discover the city. When you arrive to our Hotel you can first park just in front for 15mn, the time to make the check-in and for Reception to give you your space number in the garage. Do not hesitate to contact with us if you have any more question. Michaël, Front Desk Manager.
