After having stayed at the Hotel Beatriz which is right next door this time we decided to try the Palace of Buena Vista and it was quite a success. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Toledo, although not too far from the center. If it is not too cold or too hot it is nice to go for a walk. The taxi to the center between seven and nine euros parking is free and for those of us who have electric car there are two chargers also available free and very fast. The problem is business as usual. That we are not always aware that we have to remove the vehicle when it is loaded for the other to use. Care at reception very correct. The huge rooms. And very comfortable. The immense beds and an acceptable mattress. A small flaw is that the floor is carpeted, although it must be recognized that it is very clean and very well maintained. Modern and spacious bathroom. With the toilet separated from the rest of the room. Bath and shower. The only flaw with the shower is that it misses a little more pressure in the water. It has a spa for a fee of 30 € an hour but it is very worth it. It is not very large but it is the most complete thing I have seen; you can do a very complete thermal tour and a great variety of saunas. In short excellent. The restaurant of the Hotel also very correct. As well as the breakfast buffet that is small but nothing is missing. And very good prices. If you take advantage of some of the promotions of the Eurostar chain. In short. I think the best hotel option today in the city of Toledo.

I'm giving 5 stars for the service and location of this hotel due to the fact we had a rental car and the parking was easy and free. The hotel has some beautiful qualities, a spa and a small art gallery. Leonela was an amazing front desk agent and I really appreciated how much she helped us with any questions. Her English was great. She even made a dinner reservation for us in another city the day we checked out. The buffet breakfast is really nice and had many choices. Carmela was super sweet and we appreciated her attentiveness during our breakfast. We came at a transitional time of seasons, with the set point for the A/C being a little too warm for us. We would have preferred it a tad cooler. Also, be sure to ask front desk to turn off the heated mirror in the bathroom, as it can roast you if you don't know to call to have them adjust. The room was large and beds were comfortable. The robe sizes only fit a small person, so my husband couldn't use one. Nice mini bar. The bathroom had an unusual configuration, but worked. My only real complaint is the hallway rugs were not vacuumed properly each day. All in all, I have no regrets in staying here because it met our needs, we were comfortable and the staff is very friendly!

It is not the first time that we have enjoyed its facilities and as always the level of satisfaction is total, which is why we repeat. The rooms are very spacious, on this occasion the views towards the Tagus. The bathroom is very large, with a double sink, a hydromassage bathtub, a shower cabin and a toilet cabin. The breakfast is extensive and they accept any user request, such as a couple of fried eggs with bacon, even if it is not among the self-service options. The service is consistent with a hotel of its category. There is a but here and it is the lack of information, price list, of the bar.

We booked a room with a view but when we arrived the view was just of the hotel courtyard. We requested another room but the only one available was not as advertised so declined to swap. The room was VERY large but most of the space was pointless and was furnished with furniture that didnt seem to have any theme to it as if they had just put any old furniture in it. The windows/french doors opened but if you inadvertently pressed the lock button in, you had to ring reception to get them to come up and open them with a key. This I felt could be a problem if there was a fire. There was a large selection for breakfast but most of it seemed as though it had been there for the whole week. The hot food wasnt hot. I feel a 5 star hotel should have proper napkins not paper serviettes like at burger king. There was an obsession with mugs like a transport cafe and the coffee machine took ages to make a drink and kept flashing a whole host of error codes. I doubt it had ever been cleaned. This is predominately a corporate hotel so expect large groups of people attending conferences and striding about at breakfast as though they own the place. I wouldnt stop here again, sorry.

Nice lobby and room, but the service is downright poor. It starts at check-in, unfriendly and grumpy staff at reception. It would have been better to find a job where they enjoyed it. Then the reception might have been pleasant. Had to wait 20 minutes to get our room keys, in addition to our credit card acceptance, we also had to pay immediately for our two nights. Then you also have to pay extra for swimming pool use of 30 euros per person. To clarify, a room here in this "five star" hotel costs 250 euros per night per room. After asking for clarification about this, there is no response or understanding that we find this very strange. In short, if you want to go to Toledo and want a five-star hotel with the normal five-star service, you should not go here. We wish the people who booked this hotel after reading this review good luck and strength.

This is truly a wonderful, one of the best we've ever visited. We truly appreciated the interior design, architecture, comfort and luxury of this 5-star hotel with a very friendly staff. Breakfast were delicious as was the many meals we had during our 4-night stay. Parking was a breeze, and the location is ideal to take an Uber to the train station for a day trip to Madrid as well as a nice day trip to Avila by car.

The rooms are spacious but need a review to update them.
The location is on the outskirts of Toledo, but in a taxi in five minutes you are in the center.
Very good and complete breakfast.
Recommended 100 x100.

This hotel is on the outside areas of Toledo – you need a car to get to the centre (I read there is also a shuttle, but this was not mentioned to us, nor did we see any info on this). The hotel looked a empty, the parking was very empty, the bar/restaurant area was very empty,… Checking in was smooth, and the room was very nice: it was big, clean, with a good bed and very nice bath room. We wanted to eat something, but this was only possible in the bar area, one that looks very stylish with a color glass ceiling. The menu is very limited, but the food was good, prices reasonable. Breakfast was very nice, plenty of items to choose from, with a lot of attention to Covid (masks required, you have your own ‘device’ to grab the food, and they monitor this very closely too. Would I recommend this place? If you like a big room, and don’t mind you are not in walking distance of the town: for sure!

We went to this hotel for the first time, we always went to a small super binito next to Hinge, ideal for parking and walking, but the owners no longer run it, they have rented it to a chain and we don't like the management and new treatment at all, So we are trying hotels, we have tested another one in the town and this one... We are from Madrid and some Saturdays we spend the night in Toledo to disconnect. How much we booked directly with the hotel, the room 135 euros with breakfast and parking included, Very good price, it is a 5 star but the service is not 5, but the rate is very good and it is normal for the services to go down. The hall is very cute, very stuffy decoration. but it looks like it is well made and made of the best materials, that hall reminded me of a cruise ship. The downside is that it smells a lot like a spa and you are drinking a beer and with the smell of the spa, which is next door, The room is very spacious, very good, very spacious bathroom. The bad thing is that it is very far from the center and you need your car or taxi and if you go out to dinner you go by taxi, since stopping in the center is a hassle if you drink, and we used to walk everywhere on foot. The breakfast is correct, not bad. the typical hotel. The rate seemed very correct and the location was far from the center, which you already know before booking, but then the hotel is very quiet.

It is interesting the reviews and no response from corporate or management. Bottom line, this hotel is set up for tours groups (buses) and business meetings. The average traveler is of little concern. I would not rate this property 5 star. First, no porters or anyone to assist with luggage. No concierge. No shuttle as others mentioned and it is not a walkable distance. Car ride was 10 mins. Several of our soap dispensers were low or out and even after removing lids they still didn’t fill them. Room service limited. Limited toiletries (shower cap, comb, toothbrush). No USB ports. All what I expect in a 5 star.
Our room was nice and large and I did use spa for massage which was enjoyable and reasonable. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, but as other travelers described, if you speak English most of the staff here avoid you. Underground parking is nice and plentiful. We opted for taxis into old town due to parking and excess walking.
Go for a night or two but that would be it. There is a burger king within walking distance, gas station and an Aldi grocery store opening Nov 2023.

Hi Mrs Emily 😃
Spa is charged 25 per person, plus if you want a massage or some other service it also charges extra. But for such a vacation the price is fine.
I wish you a pleasant vacation and a nice time in the Spain🍀
