Her wedding preparations were so perfectly executed by the very professional and friendly staff that we were pleased beyond expectations. The place had a magical glow that was apparent to everyone with us. The 15 or 16 acres of grounds were impeccably planned and maintained. It is impossible to overstate our joy from having visited.

Oh man where do I start... I truly had a wedding that people could only dream of and that is all because of the team at the Cigarral. Every single element was planned to perfection, every single member of staff were amazing and gracious and it was honestly the best days of mine and my husbands life and we have the Cigarral to thank for that.
From the moment I called to enquire about the venue to the day we got married, this team treated me like a princess, giving me all the time, advice and help I could ever need even though I was planning from half way across the world. A huge call out to our planner and co-ordinator Kelsey who was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and I am a very particular bride, yet she managed all of my questions, whims and ideas like an absolute pro!
To all of the other amazing staff at the Cigarral from Sara (who was 8 months pregnant and still helping out), Andrea, Ana and a whole host of others, every day went off without a hitch because of this incredible team. I also wanted to make a huge call out to the hotel team, the grounds staff, the chefs, the bar crew and DJ Andres. Every element from the food morning and night, to the rooms for all of our guests, the free flowing pouring of drinks and the music... There just aren't enough words to describe how lucky I was to get to have my wedding here. My guests tell me to this day that it was the best wedding they have ever been to, including many of their own. I am now just waiting for a reason to have a vow renewal so that I can go back and do it all again!
For all future brides and grooms trying to decide where to get married, do not even hesitate to look any further.... Cigarral de las Mercedes is the only place you need to consider!

My husband and I set out to spend a few days away and this property was an absolute God send. The location provides panoramic views and the grounds are very well kept. Our room was a classic room, the most basic option, yet it had incredible views and a balcony. The staff was amazingly accommodating, proactively anticipating personal touches to make us so happy every day from morning to night. For example, we had to leave early in the morning before daight to catch our flight home, and without us even asking they packed us a picnic breakfast and delivered it to our room complete with coffee, fresh fruit, a sandwich, and some pastries. We spent siesta at the pool with a delicious pitcher of sangria and snacks. After sunset we walked in the garden to find a spot where we could see the panoramic views and we literally danced in the moonlight in the garden overlooking the city, and there was total privacy. The fragrance of the jasmine in the garden, the moon and stars shining brightly above us, the twinkling of the lights from the city in the distance, shadows of sculptures in the garden, dancing to our song from our iphone is an experience I will never be able to replicate, and offered me by chance because these owners are genius enough to provide the perfect environment for blissful once in a lifetime opportunities like this to happen organically. This is the property’s secret sauce. I can not thank them enough for this beautiful stay. This place is a must see. We will return asap and even bring the whole family.

We were at CdLM for a business function. Drinks with heavy appetizers, then a sit down dinner with presentations etc. The grounds are exquisite. The views of Toledo are amazing, especially at night. The food and service were outstanding. I would seriously consider staying here if I was visiting Toledo except for the fact that its location high above the city might not be the most convenient.

Spent three days at this stunning and relaxing boutique hotel perched atop a hill overlooking the medieval city of Toledo. Most rooms at Cigarral de las Mercedes include a balcony overlooking the meticulously cared for grounds, a luxurious rain shower, and extremely comfortable and large beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the meals were bountiful and the event/wedding venue was simply jaw-dropping. Every corner you turn at Cigarral de las Mercedes is more beautiful than the last. Hard to imagine such a mesmerizing and dreamy location exists. Would whole heartedly recommend a stay and event here. Can’t say enough positive things!

What can I say. The Team working at this Hotel are the best ever. We had our cases lost for my family wedding. The wedding planning team put the wedding back one hour to accommodate the luggage being retrieved and only 20 minutes for myself, a bridesmaid and page boy to get ready. Food is 5star plus plus. Waiters. Waitresses. Everybody so so friendly. Rooms comfortable. Stunning location. The wedding was just so beautiful, specials thanks to the wedding team for accommodating my wedding words later in the day as they were in my lost luggage. I have not stop thinking about this incredible vacation! I recently visited over New Year’s Eve for a wedding. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely welcoming. They were very friendly and went above and beyond for each of there guests.
The grounds are stunning. You are able to see all of Toledo from the look out. So many different spaces to celebrate.
Every room had a picture perfect view! Everything was clean and all the amenities you needed. The rain shower was the most relaxing:)
I was blown away by the food! So many creative and delicious options. The wine was local which I thought was really special. The Nespresso so machine might have been my favorite part anytime of the day!
We were nervous about traveling during this time, but once we arrived we felt completely safe! All the staff wore masks and many of there beautiful event spaces were out doors.
It truly was the most incredible trip and wedding I have ever been too. cannot wait to go back!
