We went by car and the hotel is in the center of the historic area, you have to ask permission to drive by those streets until you get into the hotel parking. The hotel is very near Burgos Cathedral and all the histoic sites. The rooms are comfortable and buffet breakfast is very good. The beds are twins but ok...

Nice hotel in the old part of Burgos, walking distance to the cathedral. Good restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. The driveway into the garage is extremely narrow. To reach the hotel is a bit complicated, as it is located in the pedestrian area.

Unfortunately I can not agree that this hotel could be ranked as a 4 stars one. It is located in the great place - 5 minute walk from the Cathedral, room we were given was spacious, but we did not find there quite essential things one could expect in any hotel of such level. No drinking water in the room,...

We could not find this hotel using satnav and maps. In the end a posty directed me to the hotel. The reception staff then helped me get the cat there. It's down a pedestrianised road with a bollard at the end. That's why it's hard to find! Once there you'll find parking underground (charged). The hotel is in an old...

After the night we had in this hotel I decided to look through the other reviews to see if there was anything in regards to the place being haunted. I had not but a few other visitors seemed to have had similar issues to ourselves in regards to the aircon. I don't know if it was in our room specifically,...

Despite sat nav we struggled to find the hotel, when we rang reception we were directed to Calle Concordia and told there was a voice entry to a pedestrian area. A bollard blocking traffic into the area was lowered and we then drove along a pedestrian area to the hotel. Just a little bit more information when booking would have...

Great Town, with very nice Tapas and a great cathedral. We spent 2 days there whilst touring around northern Spain, perfect. Many thanks to previous reviewer Lawdylawdy for his advice on getting into hotel.in the end we picked up an elderly Spanish gentleman who took us to hotel and pushed all the buttons for us. This hotel has very pleasant and helpful staff at reception. However, it might need to review a few areas of customer service. No room service was available at 11am when we called to order some sparkling water. We asked for better done steaks but they came back to us the same way as before which reflected poorly on the standard...

The hotel is very confortable, the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is very big. The breakfast is very good with diferent options. The location is very good but keep in mind that it is in the part that not many cars are allowed to enter. Burgos is a very beautiful city and the catedral is just splendid.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the old town of Burgos you can find an emblematic building that was a mansion and palace of the noble families Rodriguez de Salamanca and Gil Delgado, counts of Berberana. We are talking about Hotel Rice Palacio de los Blasones, a charming 4-star hotel that has been magnificently renovated and which now conjugates modernity and comfort in an establishment that is worthy of its category, preserving the elegance of a palace of its time. Located 150 yards from the cathedral and in the middle of the Way of St. James, also close to the Forum Evolucion Congress Centre and the Evolution Museum, the hotel is surrounded by an area filled with tapas bars, next to the main shopping street in Burgos. All the hotel rooms are Junior Suites and have two floors, large and perfect to relax and work. Also, Hotel Rice Palacio de los Blasones has a large gastronomic offer at its restaurant, La Finca, which has magnificent rooms to host all kinds of events. ... more   less
