Easy to locate from Motorway and parking a bonus for us as it was secure (had cycles with us). Great cycle friendly town for pootling around - and plenty of bike hire available. I understand that the hotel has free bike hire but you may want to check in advance. Parking was 8€ per night but plenty of free parking...

The Hotel Campus Tavern is a couple of kilometres west of the old city of Burgos. If you're walking the Camino those last couple of klms through town and onto the hotel are hard work, but the bonus is that when you leave you are already on your journey! The hotel is basic, but quite up to standard. The fellow on...

Hotel reception was excellent. Car parked securely (at a cost). Beer in bar/restaurant to recover from 500 mile journey. Room clean, comfortable bed, a bit on the small size but quiet and good WiFi. Pleasant stroll from hotel along river through Parque de Isla to historic centre of Burgos (about 20 mins). Great overnight stop enroute from UK to southern...

I take this hotel on my trips from Belgium to Jerez. I usually stay here for several reasons: pet friendly, big park at the opposite of the street to walk your dog, close to city centre (15 minutes walk), quiet, a lot of parking space in the streets around the hotel, clean, simple and worth every euro.

Arrived very late but no problem for the very friendly receptionist, he...

Although close to the University it was not easy to find, but a friendly welcome with a map made up for our travail. We chose a large, airy room overlooking the street where our car was parked. A 20 min stroll along the Paseo de la Isla, beside the river, took us to the historic centre where we wandered around, returning...

I must first say that the man on the day shift is THE most friendly, lovely, helpful guy, but if you don't speak a lick of Spanish you might have trouble. He was the best part about this hotel actually. I have never met a more puzzling way to get into a hotel as this. The entrance is via a...

Great place to stay if you have a car. Plenty of safe parking on the street and only a 15 minute walk into town through a park along the river. Very clean, big bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and quiet. Would stay here again.
