The hotel is impeccably maintained and stunningly located - a short walk from the old town. Our room was large and well appointed. The staff were most courteous, most helpful and simply... More

The Hotel Rector is located right outside the city walls of Salamanca. It is a lovely location. Right between the river and the old town. NO need for a car to see the sights! The hotel is perfectly run. Our room was impeccable. When in Salamanca I can't imagine wanting to stay any place else

We stayed two nights en-route with our car. A warm welcome included helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat. Enclosed car parking made access easy. All the staff went out of their way to enhance our short visit to Salamanca. The quality of accommodation was sublime. A glass of wine in the lounge/bar area set us up for dinner... More

Stayed here for one night en route south. Beautiful building, really nice spacious room. Staff were unfailingly charming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast ( included) was one of the nicest hotel breakfast I've had. Hotel has a limited amount of parking which is secure, albeit a bit tight for large vehicles. We were given a list of restaurants that they recommend,... More
