The Hotel Condal is in the old city and perfectly placed for a short break stay. The Plaza Major, which is an absolute must to visit, is just a short walk away. All the main historical buildings are within walking distance. We arrived by train from Madrid and walked to the hotel. We bought our train tickets online through Loco2...

The hotel is comfortable, nothing fancy. Don't expect much help from the male reception staff if you do not speak Spanish. Breakfast was ok made better by the only staff member with a smile. Lift is as cranky as reception staff.

In the heart of the old city, this clean hotel is very well located. It has an underground public parking available at its doors. The rooms are convenient and the price is right. It is only five minutes away from the plaza mayor and one can walk and come back to anywhere in this beautiful city.

The location is one of the best points about this tired-looking hotel. It is close to the the beatuful main plaza in Salamanca. I'd say about 1 minute away, actually. The rooms are basic but fine as they were clean. The windows were double-glazed I think so didn't hear any noise at night considering it is situated on a square....

Quite quiet, functional, inexpensive, clean, central, close to off street parking (paid). Ideal stopover point if like me you are travelling through Spain and need somewhere inexpensive to stay the night. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Only five minutes walk from Plaza Mayor this hotel is superbly positioned for exploring the city on foot. The staff are helpful, rooms are a good size and air conditioned and wifi is free. The en suite is very small but clean and functional.

The rooms were a good size and very clean. If your room faces the square you get a lovely view of the two cathedrals over the rooftops. The wifi was stable, if a bit slow. Breakfast was reasonable and the staff were friendly. I would happily stay again.

Clean, comfortable, nice and spacious room, same for bathroom. Very good breakfast too. Price ok (€ 40.00 / night for 2, breakfast included). Employees were very gentle and helpful. I payed special attention to details as I read some reports before booking here. The only low note was the wifi access, not easy in my room but ok at the...

My room was very small and very dark, not even the lamps are sufficient to illuminate the room. It was clean and service was very good. Great location if you want to discover Salamanca on foot, restaurants and main tourist attraction within 5-15 walking!

This is a no frills basic hotel with superb location and an underground car park just across the street. Salamanca itself is a very well preserved ancient city with a lively University scene and hundreds of restaurants and bars. Well worth a visit.
