Spread on two sites this hostel is really for backpackers or tourists spending one or two nights before moving on. We were a group of 20 over 60's Spanish students, and stayed for 10 days, with organised trips every day which we arranged independently before we went. This Hostel coped admirably with our influx. The staff at breakfast, on reception... More

Basic hotel but good size room which was nice and clean. Garage car parking available nearby for 8 euro per night. Bathroom ok but a bit on the small side. We were on the second floor and there is no lift. Ok for my wife and I but if you are not too good on your feet take note!. Although... More

Just a few steps from the Roman aqueduct supposedly built by Hercules according to Alfonso X (and of course refurbished by him in his time), Hostal don Jaime is a great place from which to visit Segovia. Room comes with breakfast--coffee, juice, and bread stuff... a typical Spanish breakfast. Staff is friendly andh helpful.

We found this by chance as we drove in from the south. The room was OK, the bathroom was quite small. We were in the annex across the road from the main section. The location is good, just a short stroll to the aqueduct and the old town just beyond. The receptionists were helpful and efficient. The WiFi was not... More

Not a 5 star luxury spot, but solid in all ways. Very clean place with polite, competent and knowledgeable staff . The facility was totally remodeled over the past three years. A small but fresh breakfast was provided. (good coffee!). Centrally located, although some of the neighboring buildings are a bit run down. Thick walls, very quite, comfortable bed. (memory... More

We spent there one night. The receptionist was very nice when we arrived. The room was big, however, the bathroom was uncomfortable because of the inclined roof. You cannot have a shower in a straight standing position. All other facilities were much appreciated. They even printed out our flight tickets for request. Very nice and warm stuff. The wifi didn't... More

I had my credit cards and cash stolen from my room and the hotel staff did not even care and would not call the police. The security was terrible and felt very unsafe there as a woman traveller. I DO NOT reccomend this place. Be careful, as only hotel staff had access to my room.

A bit false advertising...AC is a fan , however it is semi centrally located, but the wait-support staff are snobby and not helpful. We highly recommend the restaurant right next door . Great service, pork , food and reasonably only in the bar. The Internet is only in the hotel main bar.

Very nice hostel right under the aqueduct. Very friendly staff, clean, has all you need. Garage near the hostel. Storks nesting on the belfry could be seen from our room window (we were there in may). I would choose this hotel again.

I lodged three nights at Don Jaime and was very pleased with the entire experience. My room was well-appointed, if a little small. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don Jaime's location is excellent, just a couple hundred meters from the aqueduct. (If you are traveling to Segovia from Madrid, the La Sepulvedana bus is recommended over the Renfe train... More
