We traveled in a group of 3 and while we were there to see the sights & make the most of each day, we felt surrounded by a crowd of travelers that were there strictly for the night life & for the late night partying. The staff were nice but nothing to write home about. We asked for recommendations on... More

The hostel is in a very nice area, safe at night, the staff is helpful and professional. Everything is in a walkable distance,They organise different events in the afternoons and evenings. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm, it was as fine as it could be. All in all it was a very nice experience!

We were initially booked into a room the size of a cupboard which had a broken door handle..we managed to change and eventually got a room that was a reasonable size with its own bathroom. Rooms were clean but shared bathroom not always. Drains in the bathrooms were also often blocked. The hostel was very noisy and we both battled... More

Absolutely great location and nice, clean, and secure building. The hostel is used as university housing so there is a full kitchen and fridge at your disposal. The staff was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. We stayed in a private triple and had more room than we had expected. Clean facilities and comfortable beds. The breakfast was also very nice... The staff were amazing, just ask and you shall receive local knowledge for sightseeing, eating, drinking, anything you want to know . the hostel close to major attractions but also a great neighbourhood to be in when you get sick of seeing Gaudi. Good restaurants, bars and squares close by.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
