We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, although the hotel is clean and is in a good location for the main sights in the city like La Rambla etc we could not get to sleep until after 3am both nights due to the very, very loud music on the street below from a bar opposite. We did ask to... More

We stayed here in mid-May and it was perfectly adequate for our needs. It's very close to Paral.lel metro stop, and several of the nearby streets have great tapas restaurants. The single room was small, but adequate, and very clean. The front desk people were helpful, for the most part, but didn't really go out of their way to be... More

No so friendly staff. Really tiny but clean rooms. Don't choose any room on the first floor, viewing the carrer Roser. There are three huge garbage bins located right underneath the window of room 112. All night long you will be kept awake by bar owners and drunk party people throwing bottles in the bins and loudly commenting on soccer... More

About 60 rooms in a little street diagonal to the Avinguida de Parralel, between the Montjuich and the Avinguida. Absolutely make sure you do NOT sleep in a room on the front side where the noise from the glass containers prevents you from sleeping ; definitely since the city empties those overnight...The rooms are extremely small and we paid for... Well, I stayed there several times due to the price and location mainly. I agree that it's not a 3star hotel, I would give it maybe2+ as still I had the basic things I needed (hot water, necessary furniture, the internet was ok at the groundfloor, the room was at 3rd floor so not much noise). A 3star hotel would... More

Dear staff, Thank you for your friendly and professional attitude. In my reviews I always consider price-quality and I left very happy (the previous two nights I had stayed at the MIllenium 4* hotel but left unhappy as there was no dedication from the staff at all), thank you. Top: Very friendly staff, small room but clean and well equipped... More

I had booked in this hotel for 5 nights in late October. The booking was made by October 8. Two days before my arrival in Barcelona, the hotel sent me an email that my reservation is canceled !!! The reason was that they were unable to charge the cost of the stay to the card I had given. I called... More

The hostel is located in a very communicative place. Right next to "Carrer de Blai" street with lots of cafes and "tapas" restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Room was small, but clean and it has conditioner, very necessary as the Barcelona streets are quite noisy.

The hotel is nice, but it could be better. The place is a small, it is not that well located. The service is nice but the breakfast is poor. There is internet but very slow. It is nice just to go, sleep for some nights and leave. The rooms are small but okay.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
