Stayed here for a couple of nights in November with two other friends. Arrived in barcelona late about midnight, got a taxi which was around €30. When we got to the office it was closed but rang the number on the door and someone said they would be with us in 5 minutes. Ended up walking down some side streets,... More

We booked this property (AinB Gothic-Juame I Apartments, Calle Jaume 1, 13, Ciutat Vella, 08002 Barcelona, Spain) based on the description on booking.com which described the accommodation as a modern apartment featuring stylish décor in a central location. The accommodation was said to be fitted with a kitchen, microwave and coffee maker which sounded perfectly suitable for me and my... More

Also called ZZ AinB at Carrer d'Ataülf, 11. We were looking for and reserved an apartment with kitchen amenities because of an extended stay in Barcelona. What we got was what appeared to be a cheaply furnished apartment with a kitchen however: - Oven/microwave did not work - Dishwasher had been removed - kitchen very poorly equipped, not able to... Firstly, I am a woman of 65, who is travelling alone.I was originally given a studio at Calle de la Dagueria 18, in the attic. Nothing wrong with the studio except it was reached by a narrow steep spiral staircase that I found impossible to navigate in safety.I was moved with no fuss the following day to Gothic Jaume 1,... Place is supposed to be open 9AM. I arrived there right on the dot and waited with 4 other people that were also waiting for their apartment. The owner eventually showed up around 9:45AM. Left my bag and came back @ 1PM since the room was not ready yet. Was provided with a dirty and old room/furniture, sub-par apartment. The... More

This apartment was in a superb location in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. The apartment itself was adequate, fairly well equipped, but sadly the decor was very tired, so much so that we decided not to prepare and eat food ourselves, because it was not a particularly pleasant place to sit. This did not spoil the holiday, but I don't... More

Great location, but just good for students who need a place to sleep, the street outside is a main thoroughfare so it's very noisy at 3am in the morning , wifi is slow and the elevator is challenging but the good thing is that there is a small fridge and stove in the room, the bed I would not recommend... Wonderful stay in the Barri Gotic in Barcelona. Amazing location and wonderful staff. Juliana, Laura, Sylvia and Shahid are very knowledgable and helpful in assisting with travel plans or questions. Exciting winding streets full of tapas bars and great food and drink and wonderful people.

It's very disappointing to had such expensive but horrible stay in this place. The AC is not working and when I asked the guy for solution, he with ignorance simply said that there's nothing he can do about it. I understand the apartment may fully occupied but I expect he can send technician to fix it. Overall, the apartment is... More

According to our Holiday Summary reception at these apartments closed at 23.00 so we arrived in Barcelona in a bit of a panic considering our flight arrived late at 21.30. Fair enough after ringing reception we were told that they would be there until we arrived. We were given the 5th floor apartment round the corner from reception so not... More

“Barcelona is an amazing city. We loved every minute of our 1 week stay - we never stopped and perhaps saw only half of what there is to see. The Gothic quarter has to be experienced to be believed, recommend a trip to the Olympic Park and walk around the top of the "old bull ring" and of course the Sagrada Familia is an absolute must visit. Buy a ten trip Metro ticket and get around the city. The best recommendation I can give is that I will very definitely return”
