Our room was a Premium Deluxe Room, we stayed on floor 6 out of a total of 7 floors. The room was large and spacious, the bathroom was in a partially open plan. The room had no balcony, but opening balcony doors to a "French" balcony variant. The beds were of the slightly harder version, but we slept well. The whole room was every day clean and well cleaned. A/C (air conditioning) worked well and provided good coolness in the room. What was perhaps a little surprising about our room was that many of the lamps were partially broken and some had partially detached from the wall, even a coat hanger that was mounted on the wall. Otherwise, the room was satisfactory.
Breakfast was served one floor down -1 from ground level. It was a good breakfast, assortment and the possibility to order from a chef who prepared, among other things, omelette, etc. The penthouse (floor 7) offered a nice view of the Sagrada Familia, here there was also a pool with sunbeds and an outdoor shower. There was also a bar here that also served food. Very nice that they had all that in the hotel. The bar in the reception/lobby was nice and there was plenty of seating.
The hotel is very close to the Sagrada Familia, but it is roughly 20 minutes from, among other things, the main shopping street and 30 min from the old town. But it depends a little on how fast you go of course. But it works well to walk around the central parts of Barcelona. There are also buses, subways and many taxis if you don't want to walk all the time. We were down at the port, which is easily reached by walking through the old town.
The staff were consistently pleasant, helpful and gave us a good service. We can warmly recommend the Radisson Blu 1882 Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia!

From the moment we stepped into the building we were made to feel extremely welcome. Jesus checked us in and was informative, helpful and superbly professional. We had arrived early and he accommodated us with early check in - nothing was too much trouble.
Room was lovely and spacious with well designed hanging space. Excellent amenities and facilities.
Pool was too chilly for us (March weather) but a nice area to sit and relax none the less.
Gym was a sanctuary space open all hours, so gave much more flexibility to the visit. The cardio equipment is older Technogym spec, but well maintained. My only (and small gripe) was that there is only 1 combo weight machine and the free weights only went up to 14kg. But still, a great space to use during the vacation.
Originally we hadn’t booked breakfast, but we added it in - SO GLAD WE DID! Best meals of the trip were the breakfasts at the hotel! Sumptuous selections of hot and cold foods as well as chef prepared area and amazing pastries.
Our return flight was late in the evening, so upon checkout, they graciously extended the stay and then we paid a bit extra for a further extension. After that, the team still allowed us to store our bags and use the upper deck/pool area - which we did for a bit, but then made our way to the bar for some stylish drinks before heading off.
A truly lovely stay, incredible hospitality from every member of staff.
If we ever came back to Barcelona, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
I noticed a flaw: of the three breakfasts we ate in this hotel three times the eggs and scrambled eggs were cold. This is due to the fact that the installation is poorly designed with a single heating lamp Located between the two dishes. In my opinion, this installation needs to be modified technically.

"A couple of streets away from the Sagrada Familia metro station. Bit further to walk for bus stops. Go to the rooftop for the pool and view."Read full review
