Cleanness level is perfect
You will be in the center of Barcelona
Free Coffee and tea in the reception
Staff is very nice
The only horrible thing is breakfast and my advise to take it without breakfast
I've been for two night at HLG. Location is fantastic, close to university square and Placa de Catalonya. Restaurant, bar, supermarket and Metro station are direct to the hotel. Rooms are clean, personnel is friendly. The only big defect: rooms are really small. No way...More
Amazing service, helped us with everything we needed.
The location of the hotel is so good, 3 minutes walk to catalonia square which is no doubt the place to be. 1 minute walk to metro station "universitat".
I strongly recommend it!!!!
Had a couple of days in Barcelona with my daughter. Hotel easy to get to, got the cheap regular bus from the airport the underground to universistadt right near the hotel. Warm welcome from staff who helped with a few different queries on the locality....More
Horrible wifi, unsmiling staff. Lights turn OFF when you use the stairs. Breakfast lacking. Only good thing is location- close to metro and market shops. Stay elsewhere. Must pay for a locker in order to store luggage after check out.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
